Just a heads up, I made some adjustments to the first part, and just ended up splitting it into two parts instead- so if you read part one before I edited it.. part 2 might look familiar. Part 3 will come on Monday :3

The ground bridge spat her out high above the Earth, leaving her weightless for a fraction of a second before gravity took hold. The wind howled around her, whipping at her wings as she fought to stabilize herself.
Her body was still weak from her injuries, her systems barely functional after the brutal encounter with Predaking. She angled her wings, catching an air current, but she was too disoriented to fully control her descent.
The dense canopy of trees below broke her fall. Branches snapped, leaves scattered, and her frame crashed through layer after layer of thick vegetation before she finally hit the earth with a heavy thud.
A pained growl rumbled from her throat as she lay still for a moment, adjusting to the sensation of solid ground beneath her once more. Everything felt different here- the air, the scent, the energy. It was nothing like the cold, metallic confines of Shockwave's lab.
She slowly pushed herself up, shaking debris from her armor. Her wings ached, one of them refusing to fully extend. She took a step forward, talons sinking into the soft dirt, a stark contrast to the steel floors she had always known.
Her optics scanned the unfamiliar world around her, so vast and open. She had never felt so exposed... yet so free..
The bright plant life swayed in the breeze, glowing softly in the light. Her frame ached, but her curiosity overpowered her pain. She wandered, taking in the alien sights, marveling at the softness of nature.
She longed to reach out and touch it with her real hands. She stilled, recalling the moment she had transformed before. Could she do it again?
She focused, but nothing happened. She growled out in frustration. Perhaps it was her injuries, she thought, looking to her wounded side where Predaking had struck her.
As she stood in her thoughts, beyond the trees slowly approached beings that would change the course of her life, ones that would give her meaning, a chance to choose a fate of her own...
The Autobots had picked up some sort of energon signal that had landed in the area. Optimus lead the whole team to investigate.
Ratchet grumbled under his breath, as he looked at the dense forest around them. He hated fieldwork. It was too unpredictable, too chaotic- too far from his medbay, where he could actually be useful.
But here they were, trudging through the dark underbrush, following a signal that had flickered and died the moment they arrived.
"Split up and search the area," Optimus ordered, looking around their surroundings.
Ratchet sighed. "Wonderful. Now we're wandering around blindly."
"C'mon, doc-bot, where's your sense of adventure?" Bumblebee beeped at the medic teasingly
"Back at the base, where it belongs," Ratchet snapped.
But his usual sarcasm was cut short when they heard a deep, guttural sound echoing through the trees.
The team reconvened almost instantly, drawn toward the source of the sound. When the brush finally parted, revealing the figure standing in the clearing, the Autobots froze.
