The morning in the boys’ room was anything but peaceful. Sunlight streamed through the curtains, birds chirped outside, and yet, Vihaan and Yuvraj remained burrito-wrapped in their blankets, blissfully ignoring the start of a new day.
"Uth na, bhai! Pehle Tu naha le fir mujhe utha diyo. ," Yuvraj mumbled, his face half-buried in his pillow.
"Tu uth, mujhe aur sona hai," Vihaan replied lazily, pulling the blanket over his head.
Silence followed, broken only by their slow breathing—until their bedroom door slammed open.
Tanya strolled in, hands on her hips, a victorious smirk on her face. "Tum dono ab tak ready nahi hue? Navya aur Swati neeche wait kar rahi hain. Jaldi karo, aaj market jaana hai."
Vihaan groaned. "Abhi toh uthe hain… thodi der baad chalenge."
Tanya arched an eyebrow. "Accha? Theek hai. Waise tum late bhi aa sakte ho… Aryan aur uska dost unko company de rahe hain."
Vihaan and Yuvraj shot up like rockets.
"Kya?!"
Tanya grinned. "Haan, ab tum dono araam se so sakte ho. Waise bhi, Aryan bahut considerate hai. Usne kaha ki—"
Before she could complete her sentence, Vihaan and Yuvraj were already scrambling to get ready.
"Bathroom main pehle ja raha hoon!" Vihaan declared, jumping off his bed.
"Tu bhaag ke jaa raha hai? Main bhi Olympic runner hoon!" Yuvraj retorted, attempting to overtake him.
A chaotic race ensued—pillows were tossed, blankets were trampled, and one of them might have stepped on the other’s foot. Just as Vihaan reached the bathroom door, he pulled a classic trick—pointing dramatically behind Yuvraj.
"Arre, tere phone pe notification aayi hai!"
Yuvraj instinctively glanced back. "Kya? Kahaan?"
Taking advantage of the moment, Vihaan slipped past him and dashed inside and locked the door from inside.
"Yes!" Vihaan cheered.
But before he could celebrate his victory, he heard a sinister chuckle.
Click!
Yuvraj had locked the door from outside.
"Ab tu andar enjoy kar, main chala! Bye, bhai!" Yuvraj called out, grinning as he sprinted downstairs.
"YUVRAJ! Darwaza khol, varna—"
Too late. Yuvraj was gone.
After 15 minutes, Breathless from running, Yuvraj reached the living room, only to find Navya and Swati sitting alone, peacefully chatting.
He frowned. "Aryan aur uska dost kahan hai?"
Navya gave him a confused look. "Kaun Aryan?"
Swati blinked. "Aur uska kaunsa dost?"
Yuvraj’s smile faltered. He turned toward the staircase as realization dawned upon him.
"Tanya ne phir se bewakoof bana diya," he muttered, his soul leaving his body for a moment.
“Matlab?”, navya questioned as she narrowed her eyes.
“Vo na…”, yuvraj told them everything what had happened.
Swati burst out laughing. "Bhai, tu toh gaya!"
Navya smirked. "Matlab tu naha ke nahi aaya?"
Yuvraj crossed his arms, trying to save whatever dignity he had left. "Aisa nahi hai. Apne dost ke room ka bathroom use kar liya! Smart hoon na main?"
