Nani wakes up in a classroom full of medical students. His breath is uneven, his mind still reeling from everything he just experienced. But as he looks around, realization dawns—*this is the real timeline.* Time has reversed.
His heart pounds in his chest as he processes the familiar surroundings. He's back. *He's really back.*
Without wasting a second, he bolts out of the room, ignoring the confused murmurs of his classmates. He sprints through the hallways, down the stairs, and out onto the streets. His legs carry him on pure instinct—to *Sky*.
He needs to see him. He needs to know that Sky is alive, breathing, untouched by the tragedies of their past timelines.
When he reaches Sky's house, his hands tremble as he pushes open the gate. Just then, he spots a familiar figure approaching from the opposite direction—Tay.
Tay gives him a questioning look. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
Nani doesn't even respond to that. "Where's Sky?" he demands, breathless.
Tay frowns, clearly confused. "At his university. Why—"
But Nani is already running again, leaving Tay standing at the entrance, baffled.
He arrives at Sky's university just as classes are ending. His eyes scan the crowd desperately—*where is he?*
Then, he sees him.
Sky walks out of the building, laughing with his friends, completely carefree. The sight knocks the air from Nani's lungs. *He's alive. He's here.*
Without thinking, Nani rushes forward and grabs Sky's hand.
Sky halts, turning to him with an irritated expression. He glances at their hands before looking at Nani up and down with a raised brow. Then, with a smirk, he scoffs,
*"Sorry, mister, I don't sleep around with people without any class."*
Nani freezes. *Right. Shit.* He forgot.
This Sky—*this* version of Sky—isn't the same man he knew. This is the real timeline, where Sky grew up rich, arrogant, and completely unaware of the suffering Nani had seen him endure before.
For a moment, Nani just stares, his heart still pounding from the rush. But then, irritation creeps in. *Damn it, even in a different timeline, he's still a pain in the ass.*
Sky crosses his arms, clearly amused. "What? Cat got your tongue? You're standing in front of *Sky Wongravee*, you know. If you're looking for an autograph, I can give you one. But if you're hoping for a one-night stand, you should really aim for someone in your league."
Nani clenches his jaw. He forgot how much of an arrogant bastard Sky used to be.
