Ch. 62: What's wrong with Umbreon?

"Wow, what a dumba**. He really thought it was a good idea to go to his friend's house after thinking he was a kidnapper! What was he expecting to happen?", said Bayvee.

"Beats me.", said Candy Cadet. "And I wrote the story!".

"Alright then. Well, thanks Candy Cadet. I feel much better now. Take care, man!", said Bayvee before leaving the room.

"You too, Bayvee.", said Candy Cadet.

Bayvee then walked downstairs as the boys were waiting by the door. They then walked outside.

It was a bright and sunny day outside, and the sun was shining bright over them.

As Umbreon stepped out along with the others, he suddenly felt this intense burning feeling all over his body. He tried to walk it off, but the pain was unbearable. So much so that not even a few minutes into the walk, he collapsed.

"Huh? Umbreon, what's wrong?", said Vaporeon, realizing Umbreon wasn't moving much.

Umbreon didn't respond.

"Umbreon?!", said Vaporeon, much louder this time as him and the others walked up to him.

"Umbreon! Umbreon, get up! The heck's wrong with you?!", said Bayvee, realizing Umbreon wasn't moving.

They then felt his fur, and they realized his whole body was super hot, even though it wasn't even that hot outside. In fact, it was barely even 75 degrees.

"Guys, he's burning up! What do we do?", said Bayvee.

"Vaporeon, do something!!!", said Flareon.

Vaporeon used mist to try and cool Umbreon down, but Umbreon wasn't getting up.

"guys...............the sun.........", Umbreon mumbled.

"Umbreon! Umbreon, what's wrong with you?!", said Jolteon.

"The sun............it's too bright..........put me in darkness..........", said Umbreon.

"The sun's too bright?", said Bayvee.

"yes.........I need shade........it burns........", Umbreon groaned.

"Damn, I knew you were a dark type, but you were never this picky about the sun being out.", said Jolteon.

"No time for that! Jolteon, go to the house and fetch Umbreon something to cover himself! It's clear he can't withstand the sun today for some reason!", said Flareon.

Without hesitation, Jolteon rushed as fast as he could back to the house, which wasn't that far. He burst through the front door, rushed upstairs, grabbed a dark and thick blanket and rushed back outside. He then ran to the group and placed the blanket over Umbreon.

After a few seconds, Umbreon stood back up with the blanket still covering him.

"Umbreon? Are you OK?", said Vaporeon.

"Yeah. I feel much better, actually.", said Umbreon.

"What the heck was going on with you?", said Flareon.

"I don't know! As soon as we stepped outside, I felt this intense pain all over my body! It was just so much!", said Umbreon.

"You said something about the sun?", said Bayvee.

"Yeah. I think I did. It felt like the sun was causing all this pain. I don't know why.", said Umbreon.

"Well that's weird. You usually have no problems at all in the sun!", said Bayvee.
