Just a dumb story, no offense meant.
How can a one night stand lead to this?
(America's states aren't personified in this AU) also this is a bit of writing practice for me. Just to get be back into the swing of things. Lol.
Each step he took towards the simple black stroller made his heart leap nervously. But along with this, the burning gaze of America bore into his skin like a knife. He shook slightly, whether out of excitement or the eerie American watching him closely. He had no clue.
Focusing too hard to be careful, he accidentally bumped the stroller gently. Looking back nervously, he noticed China had to bodyblock the American who suddenly went defensive. The scuffle quickly ended as Mexico whispered something, something bad, as America turned a hateful gaze to him and tried to claw desperately out of the tall Chinese man's grasp.
Trying to ignore whatever was happening behind him, he leaned slightly over the cradle.
"Мой маленький подсолнух." He gaped slightly as he gazed down on the little girl. His little girl.
She had bright Ruby eyes just like him and his siblings, a grumpy pout that he made when his siblings took acholol away from him and the dumbest chubby little body.
She looked unsure of him for a second. He stuck out his tongue. Trying to hide the smile he felt coming on. She tried to mimic him but failed before starting to make screaming giggles and wobbly little grabby hands towards him.
He actually felt his dead heart melt for a second.
He only stopped looking at the little creature when he heard America cussing in a heavy southern accent he only got when he was really upset. America just stomped dramatically over to the stroller and pointed a finger accusingily at her.
"You Lil' prick. All ya did around me is sob and wail, but the second the brute is over, here you are all giggles!" He growled. She just grabbed his finger.
"Don't look all cute, you damn commie." He accused her again. It was hard to tell, but Russia swore he heard a laugh with that. The baby just stared unblinking with a smile at Russia.
"Jeez I just gave birth to you and you're already abandoning me." He dramatically placed a hand on his chest before gently poking her face with his unoccupied hand. Then he ran a hand through his hair and stepped back.
"Can you believe this- "America whined towards China.
China responded, but Russia didn't care to hear it.
He just continued to look at the little baby.
He bit his lip as she giggled again and did a little wiggle motion.
His temporary happiness was ruined when he realized he would have to leave her.
