"Are you ready, babe?" You called from the sofa, your nerves starting to get the best of you.

"Almost, I'm putting the final touches on my outfit!" Zendaya's voice echoed from the bathroom, her tone light, but you could tell she was trying to get everything just right.

You stood up and stretched, pacing a little. Today was the day. The day you were going to go public. You and Zendaya had decided that it was time, and she was going to announce it during her live television interview. It should have been an exciting moment, but the nerves were real. She was a star, a huge celebrity. And you? You were just... you. A nobody.

But you knew one thing: Zendaya meant the world to you, and if this was the next step, you would take it—together.

"All done, how do I look?" Zendaya asked, stepping out of the bathroom.

You turned to look at her, your breath catching in your throat.

"Wow, just wow. You look amazing," you told her, walking over to her and offering a soft smile.

She stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her outfit one last time. You walked up behind her, wrapping your arms around her waist. It felt like everything else had disappeared in that moment, and it was just the two of you.

"Darling, as much as I would love to stay like this, we need to go," she said, her voice warm and calm, even though she seemed a little nervous too.

"Alright, let's go," you said, your heart still racing, but this time it felt a little easier, knowing you had her by your side.

You both left the hotel hand in hand, stepping into the car that would take you to the studio. A short while later, you arrived at the building. Zendaya's bodyguard let you out, and the two of you were ushered in through the back entrance, moving toward the stage where Zendaya would be interviewed.

You were nervous as hell, but you kept telling yourself you'd be okay.

"You alright, y/n?" Zendaya asked, looking over at you, her hand squeezing yours.

"Yeah, just nervous. I really want your fans to like me," you admitted, the weight of the moment making your stomach twist.

"They will. They support anyone I'm with," she said reassuringly, giving you a soft smile that made you feel a little better.

She hugged you, holding you for a moment before stepping out from behind the curtain, ready to face the world. You watched her confidently walk onto the stage, her posture tall and graceful. She looked incredible, as always.

The interview began, and Zendaya talked about her latest project—her new movie. The crowd was captivated by her, but then James, the host, turned the conversation toward the rumors that had been swirling around.

"Well, that's one reason I'm here today," Zendaya said, her voice steady and clear, "I've been dating this person for the last seven months, and I really love them. We finally decided to go public, and we hope that fans and everyone can respect us as a couple."

There was a pause, and you held your breath. The crowd was waiting for something, but you weren't sure what. Then James spoke again, his voice booming with excitement.

"Alright, everyone, welcome Zendaya's partner!" he announced loudly.

The nerves were back, but you took a deep breath and stepped out from behind the curtain. As you made your way onto the stage, the clapping from the audience faltered for a moment. Silence filled the air. You could feel the heat of the spotlight on you, and your heart raced in your chest.

But then, someone from the crowd shouted, "We love to see it!"

The applause started again, louder this time, and the tension in your chest began to ease. You smiled nervously and walked over to Zendaya, sitting down beside her on the couch. You felt a little more at ease with her next to you, her hand finding yours.

You leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips, the kiss lingering for a moment before pulling away.

"Wow, what an entrance," James commented with a playful grin.

"Thank you," you said, giving a small laugh, your nerves fading away in the warmth of Zendaya's presence.

"Now, tell me how did you and Zendaya meet?" James asked, clearly curious.

You smiled, feeling a wave of nostalgia. "Well, I was walking home from work. It was dark—way darker than usual. My best friend and I were staying together at the time. I remember it started raining. To get home a little faster, I started to run. But I ran right out into the street and got hit by a car."

The crowd gasped, but you smiled reassuringly. "When the person came to check on me, I looked up and saw Zendaya. She got out and checked on me, helped me up, and was kind enough to drive me home. When we got inside, she asked me if she could make it up to me. I told her she didn't have to, but she insisted. She gave me her number and took me out. Well... the rest is history."

The crowd smiled, and you could see Zendaya's eyes twinkle as she looked at you. James was clearly impressed by the story.

"That's amazing. I'm glad the two of you have each other," he said, smiling warmly before turning to the crowd.

"Sorry, folks, that's all the time we have today, but we'll see you next week!" James said, waving goodbye to the audience.

"Bye everyone," you and Zendaya said in unison, waving as the crowd cheered.

Zendaya grabbed your hand as you both stood up, and she pulled you toward the back. Once you were out of the spotlight, she turned to you, a mischievous smile on her lips.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?" she asked, her voice light.

"No, I thought it would be much worse than that, honestly," you admitted, laughing with her.

"Well, I'm glad it's over," she said, tugging you along, "Let's go. I need food."

"Always you and food," you laughed, running after her as she pulled you toward the back exit.

It was a moment you would never forget. The nerves, the anxiety, all melted away, leaving only a sense of relief and excitement. You and Zendaya were finally stepping out into the world as a couple, and no matter what, you knew you were in this together.
