Third Person's Point of View

After the Survey Corps successfully killed Rod Reiss, Y/N was sent to the basement for questioning.

Contrary to what Levi thought, Y/N isn't actually out of the woods yet because Erwin commanded the Garrison to apprehend her the moment the mission was over.

Y/N sat on a cell with her hands in front of her, bound by handcuffs, head staring up at the ceiling.

"I guess this is it, Ty." Y/N let out a bitter smile as her purple eyes bore to the grimy ceiling of the tiny cell she is in.

'Meh, we've handled worse. But at least now, no one would be killed after they find out who you really are. Isn't that freeing?', Entity says inside her head, making her chuckle.

"You run away from your past for all your life and lie to everyone... It'll get so much time to get used to to tell the truth." Y/N replied, not caring if anyone will hear her.

"Do I really have to tell them?" Y/N asked her other self, earning no response as suddenly, a clanking sound was heard by her, making her shift her eyes from the ceiling to the entrance of her cell.

A familiar tall, blonde man made his way inside the room, blue eyes staring at her from the opposite side of the metal bars.

"Y/N."

Y/N smirked, seeing Erwin Smith stand in front of her.

"Wow, I feel like a celebrity to be personally visited by the one and only Erwin Smith, Commander of the Survey Corps. Howdy, dear Sir? To what do I owe you this pleasure?" Y/N said, her cheesy grin not changing the expression on Erwin's face.

"Everyone is waiting for you in the interrogation room. You're gonna have to tell them everything. As the commander, it is my responsibility to assure everyone of their safety. Even though I trust you, I don't think they do. Not after you turned your back on them."

Y/N shook her head, a gentle expression plastered on her face.

"Why do you trust me, Erwin?" Y/N asked, her voice cold, startling the commander.

"I'd like to think that all of my assumptions about you are right. But I'm gonna need you to confirm all of them, Y/N." Erwin replied, making the girl scoff then laugh.

"All for the sake of clearing my name or to satisfy your prolonged curiosity on whether I was the girl who tried kill you once upon a time?" Y/N said, standing up from her seat to walk towards Erwin.

She raised her bounded hands to caress the commander's skin by trailing her index finger on his cheek.

"You're right. I'm the person you've been looking for all this time. Are you happy now, Smith?" She replied, her purple eyes shining bright in the dim room.

Erwin shut his eyes from the feeling of her touch and gently held her hand to get it off of him.

"I'm not playing with you, Y/N. So stop playing with me. All this act will soon fall through. This persona you've made up... You knew that I saw through it the first time we've encountered each other in the Cadet Corps. I saw through it the day Nile had to tell the citizens what your 'background' was. You may have had everyone fooled but never me. So please, know when to stop. Have mercy on your friends and stop lying to them."

Suddenly, Y/N's laid back attitude got replaced with hostility.

The light inside her eyes shone brighter, making Erwin stagger back a little bit.

"And be pitiful and pathetic in their eyes? I'd rather have them see me dead than have me be vulnerable for God's sake!"

She panted, trying to keep her emotions at bay or else she'll lose it but one word from Erwin didn't help her at all, pushing her to feel more agitated.
