The morning light spilled through the windows, casting a golden hue over the living room where Alessia and Lily lay entangled on the couch. The previous night had been a whirlwind of emotions, of tears and laughter, of renewed promises sealed with lingering kisses. Now, Alessia refused to let go.

Lily stirred slightly, stretching against Alessia's warm embrace, but the moment she shifted, Alessia's grip tightened. A deep, contented hum rumbled in Alessia's chest as she buried her face in Lily's neck, inhaling the faint traces of her lavender-scented lotion.

"Ale..." Lily murmured, amusement in her voice.

"Hmm?" Alessia's lips brushed against her skin, pressing a lazy kiss just below her ear.

Lily chuckled softly. "You're supposed to be getting ready for work."

Alessia let out a dramatic sigh, nuzzling closer instead. "Work can wait. My wife-to-be needs me more."

Lily's heart stuttered at the casual way Alessia said it—wife-to-be. She had never once doubted Alessia's love, but after everything they had been through, hearing those words again filled her with indescribable warmth.

"Alessia, baby..." she whispered, her fingers running through the dark strands of Alessia's hair.

"Yes, amore?" Alessia finally pulled back, her deep brown eyes locking onto Lily's with that familiar intensity—the one that made Lily feel like she was the only person in the world.

"I love you," Lily said, smiling.

Alessia grinned, tilting her head slightly. "I know." Then, she pressed a lingering kiss to Lily's lips, slow and deliberate, savoring every second.

Just as things were about to escalate, a sharp knock on the door interrupted them, followed by Francesca's unmistakable voice.

"Alright, lovebirds! If we let you stay locked in here all day, we'd never see you again!"

Alessia groaned against Lily's lips. "She's lucky I love her."

Lily laughed, lightly pushing Alessia away. "Come on, let's go before she kicks the door down."

With exaggerated reluctance, Alessia finally stood, but not before stealing another kiss.

The moment Alessia and Lily stepped into the main lounge, they were greeted by their friends. Francesca, as always, was the first to cause trouble.

"There she is—our Capo, back to being Lily's personal body pillow!" Francesca smirked, nudging Marco. "Told you she'd be back to being a lovesick puppy."

Marco chuckled, arms crossed. "I've seen her refuse missions before, but this morning? She was actually trying to cancel everything just to stay home."

Isa, lounging on the couch, grinned. "Classic Alessia. I remember how she was after she first proposed to Lily. We almost had to drag her away from home."

"It's good to see, though," Lucia added with a gentle smile. "After everything that's happened, this is what we wanted—Alessia back to her old self, completely obsessed with Lily."

Luciano, who had been quiet up until now, smirked. "Honestly, we were getting worried. But now? I'd say we're back to normal."

Alessia rolled her eyes but didn't even bother denying it. Instead, she pulled Lily into her lap as they settled on the couch, wrapping her arms around her waist possessively.

"You're all just jealous you don't have someone as perfect as my Lily," Alessia teased, pressing a kiss to Lily's shoulder.

Lily turned red, much to the delight of their friends.
