Teahyung had finally gotten what he wanted.
Jungkook had agreed to co-parenting.
It wasn’t the ideal situation, not for either of them, but after long discussions—filled with Taehyung’s reluctance and Jiwon’s resistance—Bogum had convinced Taehyung that this was the best way to handle things.
Jungkook wasn’t happy about sharing his kids, but he knew one thing: This was just the first step.
And now, the moment had come.
A sleek, black Rolls-Royce with tinted windows pulled up outside Taehyung’s house. The Jeon family emblem was embedded into the hood, a symbol of wealth and power. The car was impossible to ignore, standing out in the quiet neighborhood.
Inside the house, Jiwon was sitting on the couch, arms crossed, expression dark.
"I don’t want to go." His voice was firm, stubborn.
Taehyung sighed, kneeling in front of him. "Jiwon, I know you don’t want this, but this is what’s best for Aeira. For all of us. Fighting him won’t solve anything."
Jiwon scoffed. "Best for us? That man abandoned us, Mamma. And now he just gets to walk back in and play father?"
Taehyung winced at his words but kept his voice calm. "I understand your anger, baby. But this agreement is so we don’t have to go through ugly battles in court. I don’t want that for you and Aeira."
Jiwon remained silent, glaring at the floor.
Meanwhile, Aeira was sitting between Bogum and Taehyung, looking back and forth between them with a confused expression.
"Mamma, why do I have to go?" she asked, frowning. "I don’t know that man. He said he’s my Appa, but Appa is Gummie, right?"
Bogum’s chest tightened, but he forced a smile. "Baby, I will always be your Appa, but you have another Appa too."
Aeira pouted. "But why?"
Taehyung stroked her hair gently. "Because that’s how families work sometimes, sweetheart. Sometimes, there are more people who love you, even if you don’t remember them."
Aeira still didn’t seem to understand fully, but she nodded slowly. "So… I have two Appas?"
Bogum smiled and kissed her forehead. "Yes, and no matter what happens, you’ll always be loved."
Aeira looked at her older brother, still seeing the frown on his face. She grabbed his hand. "Oppa, you’ll be there with me, right?"
Jiwon looked at her and sighed heavily. "Of course, I won’t let you go alone."
Taehyung smiled softly. "Thank you, baby."
Ding!
A notification on Jiwon’s phone made him glance down. His jaw clenched.
Jungkook: The car is outside. Don’t keep me waiting.
Jiwon scoffed, locking his phone. "Tch. Typical."
Taehyung stood up, straightening his clothes. "Alright, let’s go. The sooner we get this over with, the better."
Bogum placed a reassuring hand on Taehyung’s back, silently offering him strength.
Together, the three of them walked out, and as the massive Rolls-Royce came into view, Aeira gasped.
"Wooooah! This car is so shiny!" she whispered in awe, her earlier concerns momentarily forgotten.
