❝𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮, 𝘆𝗮 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.❞ 𝑐𝑖𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑖 muttered nudging solange's leg as she continued to roll her blunt.
sola groaned swiping her finger across the screen, her eyes still closed as she tried to get all the sleep she could.
"hello, this is a prepaid collect call from, dd, an inmate at federal correctional facility. this call is subject to recording and monitoring to accept charges press 1."
sola sat up immediately rubbing her eyes as she grabbed her phone pressing the 1. she glanced up to sevyn who furrowed his eyebrows and looked at her just as confused.
after a few seconds dds voice came through the line.
"ma," he mumbled tiredly, his voice causing sola to sigh and throw her head back.
"yes baby?" she said softly, her voice raspy but still clear enough for him to hear.
it was silent for a second before dd kissed his teeth blowing out a breath, "can you come bail me out?"
"of course baby," she yawned standing to her feet, sevyn cleared his throat shaking his head. "not right now sola, they ain't open."
"okay well i wanna be the first ones there, how long does it take?" she frowned turning around to ash.
"they don't open till like eight ma, i can stay a few hours i just wanted you to know i need you to bail me out." dd chimed in.
sola took a deep breath running a hand down her face, "okay, i'll go to the bank before anything. it's cash deposit right? and how much is it?"
"just bring a few bands, just to be sure. i'll pay you back- no baby, it's fine you don't need to." she cut him off smoothly, shaking her head.
"i'll be there as soon as they open, just hold tight, okay?" sola said softly, her voice a mix of exhaustion and determination.
"aight, love you ma," dd mumbled, his tone softening.
"love you too, baby." sola ended the call, her thumb lingering over the screen for a moment before she sighed heavily.
