"It's beautiful..." Aki muttered when staring at the dragon's art. 

"It sounds broken too ," Tyranno added, reading the card's text. 

"Let's get the beast Ruri, with it, and our comrades gaining the synchro counterpart and dragon. Leo's plans fall apart," Kaiba gave a slight nod to Edo. 

Bloo-D shoved its hand forward, breaking through the glass easily. 

Bloo-D took the card out of the container, handing it off to its master. 

Edo gritted his teeth and dropped the card, it instantly burning his fingertips. 

"What is wrong with that thing?" Edo said to no one, having no idea why the card burned his finger tips. 

Suddenly, Aki's signer mark glowed, responding to the card. 

The xyz dragon flew up from the ground, going towards Aki. 

"It resonates with your mark!" Tyranno noticed that Aki's mark was responding to the light dragon. 

"Interesting," Kaiba said under his breath, Aki grabbing the card. 

"It must have been supercharged within its time here, not allowing anyone without connections to Ray to hold it," Kaiba theorized on why the dragon hadn't responded to them, but it did for only Aki. 

"It doesn't matter, we have to get going!" Aki put the card into her pocket, telling the others that they had to meet with the rest of the Lancers. 

"Right!!"

East Tower

"My Turn, Draw!" Yuri's eyes remained on his opponent. 'That Advanced Dark is a pesky card, I'll deal with it now!' Yuri activated the card he drew. 

"I activated the Quick-Play Magic: Cyclone! I destroy Advanced Dark!!" A burst of winds surrounded them, attempting to destroy the Field Magic. 

"Trap Open! Gem Miracle! I destroy Topaz Tiger to negate Cyclone!" The winds disappeared, Topaz Tiger having been sacrificed to keep Advanced Dark on the field. 

"Tch! I then activate Resurrection of the Dead!! I special summon Predator Plant - Darling Cobra (ATK: 1000, Lvl: 3)!!" Darling Cobra returned, its roots stuck in the ground. 

"Since Darling Cobra was special summoned, I can add Fusion to my hand!" Yuri revealed the magic card, playing it immediately. 

"I then release it to special summon the tuner monster, Predator Plants - Banksia Ogre (ATK: 2000, Lvl: 6)!" The dark plant took the much smaller plants place.

"I then activate my trap, Predator Rebound! Since a "Predator Plant" left my side of the field, I can special summon a "Predator Plant" from the cemetery! Come to me, Darling Cobra (ATK: 1000, Lvl: 3)!" The plant sprouted next to the tuner monster. 

"Level 6 Banksia Ogre tunes Level 3 Darling Cobra! Synchro Summon!!" Johan put his arm over his head to block the light of the summon. 

"Level 9! Predator Plants - VampiricTrap (ATK: 3000, Lvl: 9)!!" The 5 headed plant screeched, Johan covering his ears from the harsh noise. 

"Lucky for you, you don't have monsters. But..." Yuri pointed forward, his two plants trodding forward. 

"Direct Attack!!!" DandyTrap went first vines coming out of its body, wrapping tightly around Johan's own. 

Johan's Lp: 4,000 → 1,800. 

"Wrap this up!!" Vampiric Trap fired streams of blood, all culminating into a single blast.
