Standing silently, Seol Ah trembled slightly as she again and again tried to comprehend the boy's words. Although she had been eager to see him again, she was not expecting meeting him in such a situation. She fervently hoped he wasn't loitering around with those boys inside, violating that boy.
"Is that a threat ?"
Seol Ah hesitated, her voice trembling but still managed to squeeze out the question.
"Please say no!" She thought.
His frozen face first stretched in surprise, brows drew together, a line appeared between them. studying her, he then replied with simple directness.
"It's a warning."
"So, you're not with those bullies." Seol Ah vacillated, giving him a once over.
"With them!" He sniggered.
"Will you still be standing here if I were one of them?"
He asked with a grimace on his face. Something had changed in his voice as he finished, something almost dangerous.
Nodding, Seol Ah visibly relaxed, biting her lip. She saw or somehow realised he was trying to prevent her to get involved, so when she looked at him, her expression softened.

"So, are you worried about me?" Seol Ah uttered, more like a joke, something she always did to ease her nervousness.
"Why would I be?" He responded, a little too rashly, as he was surprised by her unexpected question.
"That's not a no." she teased, grinning and looking into his eyes.
He tensed then quickly put on his indifferent mask again.
A sudden determined look comes over her, one which brooks no arguments. "But we have to help that boy." looking at him under her lashes, she whispered softly.
Her statement made his jaw clench, but her tone of genuine concern and sympathy made his face soften, and his heart jumped a beat, her words had this unfamiliar effect on him that he failed to name.
