Gwen 10: Ultimate Alien Force

Gwen, Kevin, Ben and Elena were travelling through space, going as fast as they can to catch up with Vilgax. The pressure was on, Ship flying forward in his enlarged state in an attempt to gain on the monster. Ben and Elena, asleep at the literal wheel, trying to regain lost energy.

The former two in question were training, Kevin offering it up casually while they weren't doing anything, and Gwen deciding to agree.

And to the boy's surprise, she was aggressive.

Even before she turned into Rath.

And even after she turned into Spidermonkey.

Gwen threw a punch at him, he flicked his head to the side and made a blade hand out of the metal he was coated in, swinging it wide at Gwen who flipped backwards, and with a small fury, delivered a multi-punch combo and kicked him down. Kevin hit the floor with a slam, and Gwen gasped.

Gwen: Kevin, I-I'm sorry...

Kevin groaned, and massaged his chin, a small bump could be seen through the metal.

Kevin: Don't be.

He ran forward and swung at her, she ducked and went for a punch, he dodged next and swept out her legs from under her, she landed on her hands and spun, kicking him back.

Kevin: So, uhh, Gwen...what's up?

Gwen: What do you mean?

Kevin: I just mean...you seem...frustrated.

Gwen: Well...

She bent backwards to avoid a kick, and flipped back before shooting the Arachnachimp webbing.

Gwen: I just...we're behind, Kevin. Vilgax is back and teaming up with Albedo. They're trying to do something and have already shown the power to ravage our city. I broke the Omnitrix again and got a dirty look from Azmuth that would make Grandpa shake, we're still trying to catch up to him, and, it's Vilgax, he's six steps ahead and we don't know how to stop the stupid Mega Null Void cannon he has planned!

Kevin shifted his arm into a blade and cut through the webbing, before attempting to punch Gwen, she blocked it and slammed Kevin in the face, knocking him to the floor.

Kevin: Babe, that all?

Gwen turned back to normal and slipped past Kevin's blade hand, stepping back and leaning back to avoid another.

Gwen: It's not just that, Professor Paradox sent us back in time 2 days. 1's gone, and we haven't made much progress, plus, what about all the stuff back on Earth that happened in those 2 days. Crimes we stopped, petty or otherwise?

Kevin kicked her backwards and she fell on her butt, rolling sideways and kicking Kevin in the chin, sending him stepping back but not much as his metal coating shielded him.

Gwen:...And what if we fail?

Kevin: There it is...Gwen, come here.

Gwen raised an eyebrow, and with obvious reluctance, Kevin opened up his arms and Gwen let herself gravitate into them.

Kevin: Gwen...

Gwen: Yeah?

Kevin: We resurrected a planet, restored international peace again, stopped another planet destroying cannon and you're building a new alien roster. We can beat Vilgax and Albedo, I know it seems a little glum, and we're running low on time, but keep your chin up, Gwen.

Gwen looked up at him and smiled.

Gwen: I-I know, it's just-.

Kevin: Shh...
