Broken but beautiful?? (14)

Start from the beginning

Krishna and Krish smiled at her affectionately.

"My Akshu and Kairav's children would have called us just like that."Krishna said, slightly nostalgic while Prithvi side hugged her in assurance.

Abhira's heart broke a little seeing her longing, but she just smiled reassuringly at her to which she returned with a affectionate smile, filling Abhira's heart with enormous warmth.

However the interaction got stuck to her mind and played in a repeated loop.

It will be perfect.

Yeah she too felt it perfectly perfect.

It was like she had always meant to be with them.

But how?

She was none to them and yet somehow she felt perfectly belonged there at that moment.

Why were these people affecting her so much?

Why their pain felt like her own to her?

Why she wanted them to stay together and happy always, when she barely know them?

For humanity's sake.

Yes, she was feeling all this just out of humanity and kindness she had inherited from her parents.

And besides life had given her a lot of similar losses to, and she knew how it felt to be in their shoes.

Yes, that's the reason that she felt too connected to them.

What else could be the reason?

It had to be it only.

And so on....... The thoughts swirled around Abhira's mind.

Her mind was a puddle of mess.

Her inner voice questioning her the strange feeling of belonging that had being creeping her all the time.

And yet somehow she was at lack of words for any answer.

So, she tried to silence herself by the logical answer that came to her mind.

But yet somehow deep down even her soul knew, there was something more potent.

That it wasn't just humanity.

But she buried that creeping thought in the depth of her mind and tried to focus on the conversation ahead of her.

And still a strange warmth of belonging washed over her, yet again.

"Krishna and Krish aren't twins. But they were born around same time." Keerti replied to Abhira's earlier question, bringing her out of her trance.

"Huh?" Abhira looked on confusingly.

"Krishna was my Princess's first child, the child we all thought to be gone forever.

They had adopted her, but they didn't knew that she was their own child, for whom they were too excited and whom they thought they lost; but see, the destiny brought the parents and their child back together again." He said while looking with a broken smile at Krishna.

A lone tear escaped Krishna's eyes as her husband side – hugged her, reassuring her.

Abhira's brows frowned further, deeply in confusion.
