Until She is Mine

The air in Dhruv's office was thick with tension, suffocating and electric, like the final moments before a storm devoured everything in its path.

Meera wasn't done.

Not yet.

She took a deep breath, stepping closer, her voice cutting through the silence like a knife.

"I thought you were perfect for my girl."

Dhruv's fingers twitched, his control hanging by a thread.

"That's why I let you near her."

A breath.

"Because Ishnavi is innocent to this world. She doesn't know how cruel people can be. And I... I actually believed you could protect her."

She scoffed, shaking her head.

"But if this is how you're going to protect her... I think I judged too quickly."

The last string snapped.

The office fell into a dangerous silence.

Dhruv's breathing was slow. Too slow. Controlled. Calculated. Deadly.

Then—he moved.

The desk shook as his palm slammed against it.

Ishnavi gasped.

Meera flinched.

Dhruv never lost control. Never.

Yet now?

His eyes blazed. His jaw was tight. His body was rigid with unchained fury.

"You think I don't know?" His voice was low, lethal.

Meera held her ground. "Then why the hell did she suffer like this?"

Dhruv let out a bitter laugh. "Because I made the mistake of thinking people would fear my name enough to stay in their limits."

His head tilted, his blue eyes piercing into Ishnavi's soul.

"And because she never told me."

Ishnavi's heart pounded.

She wanted to tell him it wasn't his fault. She wanted to tell him she had just been scared. But she couldn't speak.

His gaze softened only for her.

"Did they touch you?"

His voice was quiet. Too quiet.

Ishnavi sucked in a shaky breath. That question.

Not what did they do?
Not who were they?

But did they touch you?

Because if they did...

Dhruv Rajput wouldn't just destroy their careers.

He would end their existence.

"No," she whispered. "But they tried."

That was it.

Dhruv turned to Meera, his lips curling into a deadly smirk.

"You think I failed her?"

Meera folded her arms. "Didn't you?"

Dhruv exhaled slowly. Dangerously.

"Watch me fix it."

And just like that, hell began.
