As the ferry docked at Jeju Island, the excitement in the air was palpable. The gentle sea breeze swept through the group, carrying the scent of saltwater and fresh island air. The sun was high, casting a warm golden glow over the landscape. The harbor was alive with people, the sound of seagulls soaring overhead, and the distant hum of boats and waves meeting the shore.
Jeju Island greeted them with its signature beauty-vast stretches of greenery, rugged volcanic cliffs, and a crystal-clear blue ocean. The island was dotted with palm trees swaying in the wind, the tropical atmosphere setting it apart from the mainland. The group stepped off the ferry, wide-eyed and eager to explore every inch of the island. The rolling hills and distant mountains, crowned with lush vegetation, were a stunning backdrop.
The coastline stretched as far as the eye could see, with jagged rock formations rising from the waves, the contrast between the volcanic landscape and the peaceful ocean creating a sense of calm and awe. The sandy beaches, soft and golden, invited them to take a walk along the shore, while the ocean sparkled under the sun, its waves gently lapping against the rocks.
As the group ventured further, they saw picturesque stone walls lining the narrow streets, traditional thatched-roof houses scattered throughout, and vibrant green fields of tangerines growing abundantly. The vibrant beauty of the island's nature-its waterfalls, vast gardens, and scenic parks-was breathtaking, every corner revealing a hidden gem of natural wonder.
Sooheon and Namra walked side by side, taking it all in. The air felt different here, fresher, more alive. It was a feeling of freedom, of escaping from the usual routines, and the island's charm seemed to cast a spell on everyone.
"Can you believe this is real?" Namra asked, her voice filled with awe as she looked around.
"It feels like we stepped into a different world," Sooheon replied, his gaze never leaving the horizon.
The others were also in awe, capturing the stunning views on their phones, snapping pictures in front of the iconic landscapes that Jeju was known for. They took a moment to admire the breathtaking beauty, knowing this was a trip they would never forget.
As the evening approached, the group finally arrived at the house they had rented for the trip. The house stood tall against the backdrop of the setting sun, its traditional Jeju-style architecture blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The scent of the sea mixed with the earthy fragrance of the nearby pine trees, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere.
The house was large, offering ample space for the group. It had a rustic charm, with wooden beams and large windows that allowed natural light to flood the rooms. The living room was cozy, furnished with comfortable sofas and a fireplace, perfect for gatherings and late-night talks. The kitchen was spacious, equipped with everything they would need for cooking meals together. The house had five bedrooms in total, each one offering a different atmosphere, but all designed to make the group feel at home.
Onjo and Cheongsan took the first bedroom, their laughter echoing through the house as they set their things down. They seemed to be the most excited, exchanging sweet words and making plans for the days ahead. Next, Namra and Sooheon went to their room, a cozy space with a large bed and soft, fluffy blankets. It was clear that they were looking forward to some quiet time together, away from the busyness of everyday life.
Woojing and Daesu settled into their room, discussing their plans for the next day, while Joonyeong and Gyeongsu chose their room, already joking around and preparing for whatever adventures lay ahead. Finally, Isak, Hyoryung, and Jimin took the large master bedroom, with a view of the ocean. It had a luxurious feel, with a huge bed and ample space for them to spread out. The three of them laughed as they claimed the bed, joking about how they would "take over" the room during their stay.
