A few weeks after the hostage situation, Yoon Seo-yeon is back at her apartment as she was resting from her earlier raids. And as usual, she had done them by herself.
She sat on the with her book in her hand and wearing her reading glasses with steaming hot chocolate on the table. She sighs and leans her head on the sofa.
'This is boring....I should head out and do something.'
Seo-yeon quickly changes into a comfortable sweatshirt and pants with a black cap and mask to cover her identity before heading out. She locks the door and proceeds to head to the lift.
The day is quiet and the sky is blue, it's the middle of the weekdays and there's not a lot of people since most of them either went to work or school.
Seo-yeon walks in the warm sunshine of a bright day. It is spring, and the cherry blossom will be blooming soon. She checks her watch to see that she was already walking 10.000 steps without knowing, there's no disturbance too.
A figure appears from her peripheral vision before crashing onto her by accident.
"Ow! Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you. I should really look where I'm going," The figure apologised as he muttered to himself towards the end.
"It's alright, be careful next time."
The figure snapped his head forward and let out quiet gasps when he finally saw who he had crashed into.
Sung Jinwoo, on the way to the assigned in hurry for almost being late, had crashed into Yoon Soohyun. The number one S rank hunter in Korea.
He blushed profusely and bowed.
"I'm sorry!"
Seo-yeon sweatdrop and gesture him reassuringly, "Relax. I said it's fine. You're too tense."
"Are you perhaps a hunter?" Seo-yeon tilts her head slightly, seeing the gear Jinwoo had brought with him.
Jinwoo straightened himself and nervously chuckled, "Y-yeah...I'm on my way to my assigned gate, actually. I'm going on a raid with my team soon. It's near the unfinished building over there."
Seo-yeon looks at the direction where he was pointing before nodding.
"I see. Those equipments you had, it's not enough, y'know," Seo-yeon said nonchalantly, not realising how impactful her words were.
Jinwoo flinched, "Sorry, I know I don't have enough. But, this is all I could afford."
The male looks down sadly.
Seo-yeon cursed herself mentally for not thinking what she had just said. She then rummaged her sweatshirt before taking out a beautiful, red, and black dagger.
She reaches his hand and opens the palm before placing the dagger to his hand.
"Here, take it."
"Wha- But, this seems expensive! I can't take it -"
She placed a finger to his soft lips, which in response caused him to blush.
"Shh, take it. I should've watched my words earlier. If you still can't accept it, then you can consider it as a gift from me. You can't have more than enough weapons in the dungeon. Well, I'll see you around," Soohyun said and walked away from him casually.
"Sung Jinwoo! My name is Sung Jinwoo! Thank you so much, Yoon Seo-yeon!" Jinwoo screamed out loud with loads of gratitude in his voice.
Seo-yeon only waves her hand dismissively before disappearing into the corner.
