Note: Yeah ngl I forgot this thing existed.
X Chara: (Dude, what are you doing? Get up, move!)
After Killer had managed to save Cross from his situation. Cross was stuck there processing what had happened. X Chara just saw it and moved on.
He kept asking and complaining Cross what he was still doing just standing there.
But Cross' experience as a royal guard saw something different.
Cross: Killer. This guy. It seems I underestimated him.
"Not only did he manage to kill the officer so fast that the attack couldn't go off. He even disguised and released a portion of his magic aura when the officer died." Cross thought to himself. "The timing was so precise, if I had to think of the situation using my magic sensory technique. I would have thought nothing happened."
Cross observed Killer with wariness, his opinion on Killer had automatically went up. Even back when Cross first met Killer, he could not sense his magic until he was extremely close to him. Cross' magic sensory abilities were very high, below X Asgore and X Undyne, 3rd highest of all the royal guards in his timeline.
Just Killer's magic sensory abilities were only slightly below X Asgore's level, higher than X Undyne and his own. (Of course that doesn't mean X-Asgore is stronger than Killer, it just means he's better at hiding his magic.)
But now Killer had showed extreme control and timing over his magic aura release. Not to mention that Killer had actually beaten Cross up quite badly the first time they fought. Of course Cross was extremely careful around Killer even without this.
Cross: (Thinking about it, this shouldn't be shocking to me. Nightmare and Killer have been causing negativity since a long time ago and still haven't been subdued. If they couldn't conceal their magic traces, they would have gotten caught a long time ago.)
Killer: Crossy, do you think the chocolate trees will grow a new one if we take one here and plant it in Nightmare's garden?
Cross: Why did you come here?
Killer: Well of course. Boss sensed you were in trouble. So he sent me.
Cross: (Right, Nightmare wouldn't want me captured if I have information regarding him.)
At the same time, Cross didn't know how good Killer's planning and coordinating skills were. He wasn't to sure to include Killer in his plan or not.
Killer: So how did the cat catch your tongue?
(It wouldn't hurt to tell him right?)
Cross explained the events to Killer. Of course not before Killer interrupted him several times to make jokes and comments.
Killer: Ah well that's easy!
Cross: (What bad joke is it this time?)
Killer: We should attack an AU!
...
Cross: I thought you were going to make an unrealistic suggestion, not something unrelated.
Killer: Don't worry it is related. What I meant was that you should distract the officers and Ink here by attacking another AU, and then you come back here and save Siren.
Cross thought about it. It wasn't half a bad idea.
Cross: That portal can travel to other AUs as well?
Cross had never heard of a 3 or more travel portal. At most portals usually connected one universe to another. Not three universes together.
Killer: Of course not. We cannot travel to a third other universes using boss' portal. But somebody here has a way.
Cross: What are you talking about?
Killer slowly grinned, he pointed towards the sky.
"Look."
Cross' eyes looked away from Killer for a slight fraction of a second.
HWOOM!
Cross quickly dodged a blur in front of him, before seeing another fist.
SHMACK!
Killer had knocked Cross out.
Killer: Interesting, you are really fast, to even dodge one of my punches.
"Now then, if what boss told me was true." Killer stood before a glitching Cross.
X-Chara: Hmph, you're quite surprising, I'll give you that.
Killer: (You truly do remind me of somebody.) We should get started, partner.
=)
