It was very dark and purple when Smokescreen opened his optics. A light shown blandly from above and when the bot looked up, there was a giant vortex of- swirly stuff. There were vague, unmoving shapes in the far horizon that seemed to disappear if he focused too hard on them. Â As the young bot observed his surroundings, his audio receptors were met with an odd buzzing behind him and he turned just in time to see a large sword slice through his tank. The Autobot that the team had come to know as Summer, stood before him, wielding the weapon. Smokescreen felt no pain, he didn't feel as though anything went through him, and the Cybertronian in front of him frowned ever so slightly. The weapon dematerialized out of her servo and out of Smokescreen's tank.

"You are not a memory. Have you come to destroy my mind too?" Her emerald gaze was hard with savagery, she knew only to protect herself and she did not recognize the bot in front of her.

"Uh, well. I'm Smokescreen, nice to meet you. And you're Seasonal Prime. We've met on the outside of, well, here. I'm here to get rid of the spider lady. Have you seen her?" Summer stared at the bot in front of her, unsure if she should trust the sparkling with such an important task. After a moment of silent debate, she spoke.

"She's within my databanks at the moment, blurring my memories. I won't be much help to you, I cannot seem to grasp her in any way that matters. Nor can I fight her, my weapons and my hands are useless." The Prime lifted her arm and pointed to a direction where there appeared to be some sort of large Cybertronian fortress.

"Okay, um. Since I currently don't have any courage to face a spider, what can you tell me about. . . that?" The bot asked, pointing to the vortex of light above them. Seasonal Prime looked in the direction, watching the gentle swirl above them.

"Airachnid dropped out of that storm, just the same as you did. The storm settled shortly after she arrived. Yet now it continues to rage, even as the two of us speak. My guess is that it's some sort of bridge between two worlds." Smokescreen stared above him, taking in the mesmerizing light and actually thinking for once in his life. If that was an entry place, then it could also be an exit. But that lead straight to his neural processor, meaning that if Airachnid attempted to exit through that way while the cordial psychic patch was still connected, she would immediately possess his own body.

"When the light goes out, or when you're not connected to anything, does it still act like a door?" The femme observed him carefully, only partially understanding what he was trying to get at.

"I'm not sure. What are you implying? Can you throw this fiend back through from whence she came?"

"Well, this is your mind. You can't manipulate her but you can manipulate your environment. Have you ever considered trying to reverse gravity?" The light's in the femme's optics brightened for a moment before dimming with the seed of doubt.

"She has a webbing ability that will allow her to produce a substance to which she can stick to. And anyway, gravity works on you as well, little one." Smokescreen hesitated before rotating back to his previous statement.

"You could just make a huge platform with nothing around it for me to lead her onto. And she's at a disadvantage when she's not using all of her legs. You could make the platform made of a metal grate, I'll be able to walk on it but her little legs will fall through." Smokescreen grinned to himself at how clever he could be when he wanted. The Prime before him waved him off in the direction his opponent was.

"Can you send a message out to my buddies who are on the conscious side of the world? I need Ratchet to disconnect the patch and put the other end into. . . the groundbridge! Ha, then her conscious will go somewhere random and it'll be perfectly fine, we won't have to worry about her." Summer nodded slowly and Smokescreen went on his merry way to the castle in the distance before he was stopped again by the spectral figure before him.
