I wanted to write some fluff, sue me.
The air swirled around the open field, casting a gently breeze that was filled with giggles from the young hero. His hair tangled in the wind as the noises slipped past his thin lips.
"I can't look at you right now," The drunken king slurred, rolling over so his back faced the multi-colored Steve who only laughed harder at his outburst.
"A-awee~ don't be bitter." Rainbow wiped away the tears that had formed in his eyes from laughing. "My answer would have been yes."
The King of Nightmares huffed, smoke escaping his lips as he exhailed, "But you said no." His red eyes narrowed on the trees blowing in the wind as he listened to the smaller catch his breath.
"You're drunk." The hero pointed out, leaning over the older Steve, his hands gently circling around the other Steve's arm to pull him back towards himself.
Nightmare turned his body back to the smaller Steve, peering up at his lover with awe. "I'm serious." He sighed, reaching his hands up, cradling the hero's face in his palms, "Marry me."
"I told you no." Rainbow cupped a hand over the villains, kissing the warm palm that held his cheek, "Ask me again when you're sober."
"I am sober." The king slurred.
"You drank three bottles of Smirnoff, you sure as the spirit-world are not sober." Rainbow scoffed, leaning down until their foreheads touched, "You're so lucky I love you."
Nightmare pressed the two of their lips together, his fingers ghosting over the hero's nape to make his lover shiver. "I love you more." He whispered against Rainbows lips.

And not only that! I also want to write a book about Nightmares pov about TSS, this would be filled with my headcanons about his family dinamic and would most likely still be NIGHTBOW (cause I can't get them out of my head), but it'd also be a slight dark romance???? I'm not sure but I'll wait for your guy's options♥︎ —(I'm adding this note like a month later and I'm not gonna make a backstory book cause I JUST found out Kosmic might be doing that and I love Kosmics writing better than my own so I'll let them do that)
