As Balak fell to his knees, his once-burning blue eyes dimmed.
[You have defeated 'The Infernal Juggernaut, Balak.']
[You have leveled up!]
[You have leveled up!]
Bell didn't have time to focus on Balak—Vulcan was still on him.
As the demon raised its club for another devastating blow, Bell acted on instinct. With a burst of mana, he launched himself skyward, angling for a midair strike. But Vulcan was ready—its three eyes tracked his movement with unnatural precision.
Bell cursed. Can it read me?
Thinking fast, he activated his skill.
[Commander's Touch!]
A pulse of magic reversed his momentum, launching him backward midair just in time to evade Vulcan's counterattack. He landed several feet away, his boots skidding against the cracked stone as he put some much-needed distance between them.
Bell exhaled sharply, his mind racing.
This is going to be a hell of a fight.
Vulcan, the Avaricious Lord of the Lower Floors, loomed over him like an unshakable mountain of muscle and malice. His enormous bulk rippled with raw power, three blazing eyes locking onto Bell with seething hunger. The massive obsidian club in his hand, chipped from years of carnage, descended like a meteor, threatening to crush him into the shattered stone.
Bell's body moved before thought could take hold—[Quicksilver] activated, his form blurring into a streak of white and red as he narrowly evaded the impact. The force of Vulcan's swing sent shockwaves ripping through the ground, massive chunks of debris sent skyward as an ear-splitting boom shook the dungeon walls.
Bell reappeared behind Vulcan in a flash, both blades gleaming in his hands—Hestia's Knife in his right, Knight Killer in his left. One divine, one brutal—each maximizing his power in different ways.
A flicker of silver light.
He slashed.
Bell's heart pounded. He needed more. He needed an opening.
Flames erupted in the distance as his shadow soldiers continued their assault, their relentless strikes barely slowing Vulcan down. Titan was locked in another brutal power struggle with the massive demon, their monstrous strength causing the dungeon to quake.
But Bell knew—this was his fight.
A flash of inspiration. A single shot.
Bell took a deep breath. His body glowed.
He was charging up Argonaut.
A storm of energy erupted around him, the sheer force shaking the air, condensing into his weapons. Hestia's Knife radiated divine light, its power surging to new heights. The Knight Killer burned with a dark, overwhelming aura, amplifying his raw strength.
Vulcan's eyes widened. Even in his rage, some primal instinct screamed danger.
Bell moved.
He vanished from sight, reappearing above Vulcan in an instant. The first strike came from above—Hestia's Knife carving downward, his skin was being ripped apart. For the first time in this fight, the beast roared in genuine pain.
Bell landed and spun—the Knight Killer slamming into Vulcan's ribs with bone-crushing force. A sickening crunch followed, sending the massive demon reeling.
