?? Chapter 7 - Past and Future ??

"Vee?" Tisha called out, standing in the doorway of her room, finding no response. She hadn't met up with Tisha for breakfast like they always do. She checked almost everywhere, ending up back at the dining room. Expecting nothing, she scanned the dining room to find.. Vee? With some other friends.. She hadn't even bothered to tell Tisha. Tisha walked over to their usual table, dejected, only to find Vee and her new group were sitting there. "Oh.. Hey Vee." Tisha said, a bit saddened as she looked over at Vee, only to see her looking... Confused? "Heh, who's this?" One of Vee's other friends asked. "Dunno. Ah wait, shes the newbie that came before me, right?" Vee said as everyone at the table laughed, but Tisha had a look of betrayal on her face. "V-Vee?" Tisha muttered, deeply hurt. "Go sit somewhere else, janitor." Vee chuckled as the whole table burst out in fits of laughter. Tisha began to cry, tears welling up in her eyes as she ran away. She ran, and ran, and ran down the hall, her arm covering her eyes, trying to wipe up the tears resulting in her not being able to see very well. Because of this, she bumped into someone! "Gah! *sniffle" im so sorry! *sniffle*" Tisha cried out, falling to the ground. "Oh my shells! Are you okay?" A sweet voice called out. Tisha pulled her hand away from her eyes to look up, only to find someone she didn't recognize, holding a hand out to her. She took it and stood up slowly. "T-Thank you..." She said, her voice trembling. Once the tears stopped blurring her eyes so much she realized it was.. Um... Who was it again? That main character.. Shelly! "Y-Your Shelly, right?" Tisha asked, sniffling. "Yeah! What happened, though? Here, come to my room!" Shelly replied, putting her arm around Tishas shoulder and guiding her to her room. Once they arrived, Shelly shut the door and motioned for Tisha to sit on the bed. She sat down, still crying and wiped her eyes sadly. "Its ok, you can talk to me! What happened?" Shelly said soothingly, rubbing her back in a comforting manner. "M-My *sniffle* best friend j-j-just dumped me *sniffle sniffle* for some random t-toons! *sniffle* a-and she insulted me right in front of them!" Tisha cried, burying her face in her hands as Shelly gave her a hug. "Shh, Shh, its okay. Im here for you!" Shelly continued to rub her back soothingly, leaning back and grabbing a plushie from her bed, offering it to Tisha. Tisha accepted, cuddling it and still sniffling. "T-Thank you.. *sniffle*" Tisha said, shakily. "Its no problem! Your Tisha, right?" Shelly asked, and Tisha nodded, surprised someone remembered her name. Tisha put the plush down, hugging Shelly as she reciprocated kindly.

Back to the present..

Tisha never forgot about that day. She toughened up and made sure her name was known, and that nobody was shoved to the side and forgotten. But she still had no idea why Vee acted like none of that ever happened? She doesn't hang with that random group anymore, but she hasn't picked up any new friends. She's been alone. Or she was, until she scooped Shelly into her trap. Tisha knew it would be the same thing that happened to her. She goes from a friend to garbage overnight! She couldnt let that happen to her dear Shelly. Not on her watch..

Meanwhile, in Vee's room...

After their talk that night, Vee had the options to stop pursuing her and Shelly's relationship, or to learn more about dating and romance so she could treat Shelly right. Not wanting to quit, she chose the latter. So she braced herself, pulling out her computer, popping the knuckles in her fingers, and doing LOTS of internet searching.

2 hours passed, and Vee learned it was a mistake.

After that time, she shut the laptop, scarred for life. (me when I accidentally click on the rodgerxtoodles tag on ao3...) But she did learn a LOT about how to have sex the proper and safe way, she thought? She also learned that despite thinking her robot body was farther different from a normal toon, its really not! Its just the TV that's different. As she scrolled through these things, she became curious about it. "I wonder what Shelly would like?" She thought to herself. Maybe one of the many gargantuan-sized dildos that they sell for some odd reason, or maybe just fingers. Maybe she would like the strange fuzzy handcuffs Vee found, but she's not sure why someone would enjoy being imprisoned. Vee found all this stuff on sex, but nothing on really loving and caring for your girlfriend. She decided to head to Cosmo! She had already concluded that he and Sprout were the only (public) gay relationship in Gardenview, and she would much rather speak with Cosmo than Seedly. She put the laptop back, did a really quick prayer because what da fuq did she find on the internet- and headed for the bakery. 

She opened the door to the kitchen, finding Cosmo and Sprout baking lava cakes. Vee remember her mental note about Shelly liking lava cakes, so she might pick some up for her. "Err, Cosmo? Do you have a couple minutes?" Vee asked, ignoring Sprouts shit-eating grin from behind Cosmo. "Oh, sure!" Cosmo replied as they went over by the pantry where Sprout couldn't hear. "So um.. You can't tell anyone else but.. I really like Shelly! She knows it and she likes me too but.. I don't wanna start dating her until I really know how to treat my partner properly in a relationship. Do you have any tips?" Vee whispered, as Cosmo looked at her with that same shit-eating grin. "Oooh! I never expected it so its so much better! Anywhoo, I can give you some tips!" Cosmo whispered back, and before Sprout knew, 15 minutes had passed. Sprout impatiently yelled, "HURRY IT UP!" Which made Cosmo flinch. "Err, right. That's all I got. But good luck!" Cosmo said, giving her 2 thumbs up. "Right. Thanks, Cosmo!" Vee replied as Cosmo ran to go back to Sprout. Vee slipped by, before remembering the lava cakes. "One more thing, can I have a couple of lava cakes?" Vee asked awkwardly. "Since when did you eat food?" Sprout asked with a raised eyebrow. "Its not for me!" Vee replied snarkily, as Cosmo giggled a bit. Sprout looked at Cosmo, then Vee, then Cosmo, then Vee. "ARE YOU HIDING SOMETHING FROM ME?!" He asked, being the drama king he is. Vee face-palmed. "Uuughh... You can't tell anyone this, okay?" Vee said, annoyed as she came closer to whisper to Sprout. "I-i like Shelly.." Vee muttered. "EEEEEEEEEEKKKK!!!!!" Sprout squealed immediately, before clapping a hand over his own mouth. "Right! Not telling. I can do that. As much as I don't like you, go! Take these lava cakes for your girlfriend!" Sprout said excitedly, scooping 2 up on a plate and handing them to her, giggling. "Thanks, Seedly.." Vee said, walking out as Sprout yelled, "No problem, outdated tech!" 

With all the new advice, as well as some lava cakes, Vee was ready to march to Shelly's room and win her heart! She approached the hall Shelly's room was in with a grin on her face when she saw Tisha, pacing the hall. She quickly dropped behind some crates, sneakily making her way over to Shelly's room which was thankfully around a bend so Tisha couldn't see. Once out of sight, she stood up, dusting herself off and knocking on the door. "One moment!" She heard Shelly yell from inside the room. She looked down and saw steam coming out from the door. Then, she saw the door open, and Shelly stood there, wrapped in a towel. 

"EEK!" Shelly yelled.
