yikes

it's been a long time since i've updated this journal of mine (my last update was 4 years ago omg, send help), so it's a little awkward and a little weird for me here. i guess there's no better way to start this off by saying hello and giving a life update, right?

hi, this is 2025 qq, and i am currently in my final semester of my final year of undergraduate studies and hopeful in pursuing a postgraduate degree.

so much has happened in the past 4 years, and music college life has honestly been one big blur. i was stressed out of my mind and had multiple bouts of imposter syndrome, but if i could turn back time, i would do it all over again and probably make the same choices.

coming back to this app brings back a lot of memories, that's for sure. i've spent the large majority of my adolescence consuming and contributing fanfictions for multiple fandoms on this platform, which nurtured my love for reading and writing altogether. now, one decade later, i am still the same novel-obsessed nerd as i started out (just that instead of reading dork diaries, i now read young adult romance).

i'm back to announce that i will be leaving wattpad permanently. i've made countless of memories and garnered wonderful readers, but it's time for me to close this chapter and turn the page to start afresh on a new, blank slate.

where will i be moving to? currently, i'm occasionally writing on tumblr (under the same username as my wattpad username), where i post headcanons and oneshots. my full-length fanfictions are currently uploaded on archive of our own (ao3) (also under the same username as my wattpad username) and you can expect future long works of mine to be posted there. (just a heads-up: most of my ao3 works will be exploring mature themes, so please read the tags before proceeding.)

what will happen to my ongoing works? by the time this update is posted, all of my ongoing works have been unpublished. most of them will probably forever remain in the archives as i have either lost motivation to continue writing them or have lost track of where the plot is supposed to go. (perhaps i will revisit them one day, but that will be a problem for the future qq to dissect.) in the case whereby i do pick any archived work up again, it will be uploaded on ao3. at present, the only ongoing wattpad work that i'm working on is fate, destiny, and love, which is currently being edited and uploaded onto ao3.

what about my completed works? any completed wattpad work of mine will remain published and on my wattpad profile, so you can still revisit them at your own time and leisure.
