The relative peace of their honeymoon started to unravel as Hyunsik's work life intruded. He became distant, spending long hours on his laptop, his earlier attempts at connection fading. Y/N felt a familiar pang of loneliness.

Then came the invitation: Hyunsik's high school reunion. He seemed reluctant to go, but Y/N, feeling a strange mix of curiosity and apprehension, agreed to accompany him.

The reunion was a lavish affair. Y/N felt a bit out of place, an outsider in a world she didn't know. Then, she saw her. Soojin, Hyunsik's ex-girlfriend, approached him.

Soojin was undeniably beautiful, and she didn't hide her interest in Hyunsik. She laughed at his jokes, touched his arm, and leaned in close. Y/N watched from a distance, a knot forming in her stomach.

Later in the evening, Soojin cornered Hyunsik near the dance floor. "I know your marriage is arranged," she said, her voice low, rubbing her finger along his chest. "Why are you trying to hide the fact that you miss me?"

Hyunsik stepped back, his expression firm. "It may be arranged, but I'm still married."

"Prove it," Soojin challenged.

Without a second thought, Hyunsik walked straight towards Y/N. He stopped in front of her, his gaze intense, and kissed her passionately. It was a clear, deliberate kiss, a statement. Soojin stormed out of the party.

The ride home was uncomfortable, filled with tense silence. Finally, Hyunsik explained the situation. "She wouldn't take no for an answer," he said, his voice low. "I just wanted her to leave."

The next morning, Y/N's phone rang. It was her dad, telling her to check the news. She opened the online article and saw the headline: "True Love Finds a Way." The cover image was a picture of their kiss.

She showed it to Hyunsik, a playful smirk on her face. "You embarrassed?"

He blushed slightly. "Duh."

Later, at Hyunsik's office, his best friends teased him relentlessly. "I'm pretty sure you got a good prize when you went home, didn't you?" one of them joked. Hyunsik ignored them, focusing on his work.

But when Hyunsik stepped out for a moment, Y/N called. His best friend, Jaehyun, answered. "Bet you gave him the night of his life last night," he said, his voice teasing.

Y/N, caught off guard, stammered, "What? No! I just... I needed to ask Hyunsik something about... about dinner!" She felt her cheeks flush. "It's none of your business anyway!"

Jaehyun chuckled. "Sure, sure. Dinner. Right. Well, he's not here right now, but I'll be sure to tell him you're 'asking about dinner.'" He emphasized the last words with a playful tone.

Just then, Hyunsik walked back into the office, his eyebrows raised. "Asking about dinner?" he repeated, his eyes flickering between Y/N's name on the caller ID and Jaehyun's amused expression.

Y/N's face turned even redder. "Hyunsik! I... I just wanted to know if you were hungry."

Jaehyun snickered. "Yeah, hungry for... dinner." He wiggled his eyebrows, causing Hyunsik to narrow his eyes slightly.

Hyunsik sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Jaehyun, stop. Y/N, I'll be home later. We can discuss dinner then." He gave Jaehyun a pointed look, and Jaehyun, finally getting the message, held up his hands in mock surrender.

Y/N, still flustered, mumbled a quick goodbye and hung up. She could practically feel the heat radiating from her face. Hyunsik's friends were going to make this very interesting.
