Viktor woke up twice that night. Once to Jayce slamming the door to the bedroom before Jayce walked over and told him to go back to sleep. Viktor relaxed into the touch of his large hand running through his hair. The second time he woke up to ajyce crawling in to bed after apparently showering.
Viktor rolled over and looked at Jayce "mm.. what time is it?" He snuggled into his chest. Jayce kissed his forehead with a small sigh "1 am. Go back to bed love." He said warmly into Viktors ear. Viktor let himself melt at the words, falling back unconscious.
Viktor woke up finally, and fully, at around 9 am the next morning. He could smell breakfast being made. Jayces arms weighed heavy on his hips as he sat up. Viktor looked down, running his fingers through Jayces hair delicately. This man had gotten into a full screaming fight for his mother for Viktor. How could he not admire him in some way?
Jayce groaned and mumbled something in Spanish, subconsciously kissing Viktors side. Viktor looked down "what did you say?" He whispered. Jayce grumbled in his sleep "Vik.." he whines into Viktor hip quietly. "Yeah?" Viktor whispered softly. Jayce pressed another kiss into his skin. "I love you." He whispered.
Viktor blushed hard "you have no idea what your saying." He whispered and rubbed his jawline slowly. Jayce squeezed him tighter " 'm telling the truth. I love you.. te quiero." He whispered softly. "Mi amor." He cooed softly. Viktor blushed impossibly harder as a grin spread across his face. "Te quiero." Viktor whispered.
After that Jayce began to ramble in Spanish before falling back to silent sleep. Viktor held him close before he heard a knock at the door. Ximena creaked it open slowly before stepping in. "Id this s bad time?" She asked Viktor softly. "Id.. ahem.dz X do,,c c ,,c ,, to. id like to speak to you. At least while my son sleeps."
Viktor slipped out of the bed, massaging Jayces back slowly so he'd stay asleep. Viktor grabbed his cane and went into the hallway, standing awkwardly. Ximena sighed "Jayce.. made it apparent that what I said last night wasn't okay. I know what I said but.." she took Viktor hand. "I know better than to make such quick assessments of people." She kissed the back of his hand. "If you and my son.. ever date. You have my blessing."
Viktor looked slightly shocked before squeezing her hands. "Thank you, Ms. Talis." He said softly. "And I accept your apology." Despite it.. not being the best apology he'd ever received he could tell it was genuine. Ximena hugged him tightly "you are now a Talis. Forever and always."
Viktor blushed softly "thank you." He whispered and squeezed her back. Ximena smiled and cupped his face. "Now. Mi hijo, you need to eat. You are skin and bones. Does my son even care for you." She tutted and dragged him downstairs with her. Viktor sat down as she grabbed some tea and coffee.
"Coffee please, Ms. Talis." Ximena smiled and nodded, grabbing the coffee pot "and what would you like in it?" She asked as she poured it into a mug. "Nothing, ma'am." Ximena looked at him curiously "black coffee?" Viktor nodded softly and grabbed the coffee and sipped it.
Ximena smiled "just laid Jayces father." She said dreamily and filled his plate with food. Speaking of the devil, Jayce walked downstairs frantically "mami have you seen Viktor?" He said quickly. Ximena crossed her arms "no clue." She snorted and walked away. Jayce went to argue before he saw Viktor sitting at the table.
Jayce sat down and hugged him tightly. "I was worried. Has mom been bother you too much?" He grabbed Viktor hands and squeezed them. Viktor heard Ximena say something to Jayce but couldn't quite make it out besides the annoyed tone. Viktor shook his head.
"No Jayce. She's been kind this morning." Viktor grinned slightly and held Jayces hand tighter. Jayce sighed in relief and loosened his own grip "okay. Good." He cupped Viktors face and smiled fondly. "God.." he trailed off before glancing around them. After making sure Ximena wasn't there, he kissed Viktor.
