citrus ~ Mark Grayson

3:35pm, 2nd of February 2003. Teen Team base.

Their journey to Teen Team had been hectic to say the least, since Gwen cant fly she usually sticks a cobweb to Eve who shoots up into the sky but this time Gwen was going to try out the adjustments she made to her suit.

Letting go of the web she quickly activated the unnoticeable flying device and it was working so far.

Eve came down beside Gwen and smiled proudly, "Well look at you.. you can fly now!" Eve teased as Mark came up on the other side of Gwen, looking around her body not really understanding how she was doing this.

"Yeah yeah.. i still need you to go fast though" Gwen spoke over the wind as she attached another web to Eve who nodded and began flying off pulling Gwen along with ease and Mark stayed beside Gwen.

"How are you flying?" He asked as he moved her a little so she wouldn't collide into a building and Gwen raised her arm a little.

"i'm gliding.. i used a thin nylon material and well it helps keep me in the air, since its so light the wind keeps me up." She replied, finding it cool that she was finally flying after wanting too for ages.

Pulling on the cobweb she flew forward all the way towards where teen team base was located and she stumbled on the roof of it almost falling off but Eve caught her, a hand around her waist.

"phew.. thanks.." Gwen thanked before turning and meeting eyes with Mark not Eve.

Looking away and then down at his hand on her waist he cleared his throat as they all moved to the middle of the large bridge pillar.

"So.. now what?" Mark asked as the floor fell beneath them and they all landed safely on the floor.

Gwen stayed beside Mark as Eve moved over to Rex.

"babe.." Rex spoke out, opening his arms for Eve who happily moved into them and kissed him.

Gwen looked away and so did Mark as the two kissed, finding it a little awkward.

Rex then pulled away and chuckled, "oh..heyy.. it's the ice mannn, couldn't have won that fight without you. ohhh! except we did" Rex cockily spoke and Gwen just rolled her eyes, hoping Mark wouldn't take Rex's words to heart.

"They got old and ran away" Kate corrected and Gwen nodded in agreement.

"Still counts" Gwen narrowed her eyes at Rex and then looked to Eve. They shared a conversation just through the look in their eyes, Gwen was never a big fan of Rex.

He's too arrogant.

"Welcome, Invincible" Robot spoke up, "My name is Robot, apologies for Rex Splode hes.."

"unbelievably awesome" Chiming in again Rex just stood there smugly and Gwen clenched her fists and teeth wanting to humble him but she never did and never would.

"incorrigible"

"and rude"

Robot and Eve spoke, Eve clearly not liking how Rex was being to Mark either.

"anddd, bored of this" Rex announced as if that meant anything to anyone, Gwen stayed beside Mark either way though, not knowing what to do if he was upset so she was just praying he was fine.
