"Kitna kuch kehna hai
Phir bhi hai
Dil me sawaal kai"_________________________________________________________
As he turned around, his breath hitched.
There she was...
Pihu.
Standing at a distance, draped in a navy blue anarkali suit that shimmered under the soft evening lights, embroidered with delicate silver threads that traced elegant patterns along the fabric. The subtle glow of tiny stones on her dress mirrored the quiet twinkle in her deep brown eyes. Her long, straight hair cascaded down her back, with soft curls at the ends, one side gently pinned to reveal the curve of her neck. A delicate sapphire pendant graced her collarbone, reflecting the soft glow of the chandeliers above.
For a moment, everything around him faded-the murmurs of conversations, the clinking of glasses, the laughter of guests. It was as if the world had dimmed its lights, allowing only her to shine.
And then, as if echoing the rhythm of his heart, a melody played in the background.
Ankhon mein teri...
Ajab si ajab si adaayein hai....
Hoo..
Ankhon mein teri...
Ajab si ajab si adaayein hai...Rudransh felt as if the song had been plucked straight from his heart, narrating everything he could never say.
Pihu's eyes held a kind of magic he couldn't explain. They weren't just beautiful-they were captivating. They spoke a language of their own, reflecting her every thought, her silent emotions, her unspoken world. Whether she was lost in a book, rolling her eyes in mock irritation, or laughing without restraint, her eyes carried a charm that left him spellbound. He didn't know why, but every time he looked at her, he felt himself slipping deeper, unable to look away.
She wasn't just another girl in the room.
She was the girl.
His girl-if only she knew.
Unaware of his intense gaze, Pihu was engaged in conversation with his mother, Purvi. She congratulated Purvi and Purab with a warm smile, her tone laced with genuine happiness. Purvi, unable to resist, pulled her into a soft embrace, her motherly affection evident in the way she gently stroked Pihu's head.
Neeta soon joined them, greeting Purvi's elder son and daughter-in-law with polite warmth. Meanwhile, Purab, ever the gentle soul, patted Pihu, Swara, and Neetu's heads as if they were his own daughters. His words, lighthearted yet affectionate, brought a shy smile to the girls' lips.
As the guests slowly moved inside, Pihu turned to follow them, but in that moment, her gaze flickered towards him.
Rudransh froze.
Her eyes met his, locking him in place, making him feel like the very air had been stolen from his lungs.
Dil ko bana de jo patang...
Sansein ye teri wo hawayein hain...For him, she was the wind that carried his heart higher-his emotions soaring effortlessly like a kite against the sky. Every time she laughed, every time she unknowingly stole glances at him, every time she simply existed within his reach, he felt himself drifting further into emotions he couldn't control. He didn't need her to love him back-just the knowledge that she was here, breathing the same air, was enough.
