"Does he seriously care that much about me? Oh my God..." He thinks to himself, "Maybe he likes me... Wait. No. He doesn't. Stop taking it the wrong way, Tanjiro!" Tanjiro mentally scolds himself, turning his head to look away from Giyuu so he won't see how red his face has gotten.

Giyuu doesn't notice this because he's busy getting a sandwich he prepared just in case Tanjiro would be late and not eat anything for breakfast yet again. Yes. That's how much this is happening is normal. It's to the point that Giyuu has been preparing extra food for breakfast for Tanjiro for the chance that he runs late again.

Giyuu gives him the sandwich he made, which is nicely wrapped in plastic wrap. "Here," he mumbles, placing it in front of Tanjiro. 

Tanjiro turns his head to look at the sandwich, and his eyes widen, a bright smile appearing on his face. "Thank you!" He says he unwraps the sandwich. "What's in it?" 

"Uh, it's a turkey sandwich," Giyuu explains, feeling a little shy when Tanjiro grins at him handsomely. Giyuu then looks down to see Tanjiro's tie isn't proper and he reaches out, "Let me fix your tie," he says, his voice low and quiet as usual. 

Tanjiro freezes for a second and then nods as he faces Giyuu so he can fix his tie and Tanjiro swears his heart is about to leap out of his chest.

While the whole interaction is going on, Kanae and Rengoku are exchanging looks, watching those two fools who are hopelessly and cluelessly in love interact. Gyomei can't see, so he's just there. 

"When do you think they're going to realize?" Kanae asks while she stirs coffee creamer into her coffee. 

"I don't know," Rengoku says in his usual energetic voice, laughing. They both watch the two of them blush at each other, hearts in the air surrounding them, and tension simmering between them, while they both don't suspect anything. 

It's clear that the P.E. and biology teacher are in love with each other but both oblivious about it. Very oblivious about it, matter of a fact. 

Cut to a few hours later and it's lunch now. All the teachers are in the lounge right now, except for Giyuu and Tanjiro. They're sitting at the bench outside, eating. 

"You want to try some?" Tanjiro asks, nodding towards his bento. Giyuu nods while he chews a bite of pork bun he got from the local bakery. Tanjiro sees Giyuu doesn't have chopsticks so he he feeds Giyuu a bite to which Giyuu without hesitation accepts.

Some students nearby witness this and they give them looks. Literally the whole school knows they like each other. Even the students. They can't believe their own eyes right now. Their teacher, Mr. Kamado is feeding Mr. Tomioka as if it's a normal thing to do between friends. Well, it is, but between friends that like each other... it's different. 

"Is it good?" Tanjiro grins as he watches Giyuu's eyes light up as he nods while chew. "I made sure to make extra for you!" He laughs, his expression lighting, a small blush appearing on his cheeks. 

"Are you seeing this right now?" One of the students whisper in her friends ear before she takes a bite of her lunch, chewing thoughtfully. They're sitting a few feet away from the teachers, getting a good view at the whole interaction.

"I know right?" Her friend whispers back, his eyes trained on the pair. "They're so obvious, it kind of pisses me off," he says.

"Pisses you off?" She asks, raising an eyebrow.

"They're in denial, and in so much denial someone needs to straight up tell them they like each other,"

"No wonder it pisses you off," they both watch Tanjiro laugh while Giyuu has a small smile on his face. The boys jaw drops and looks at his friend who also looks back at him to confirm that they both saw that.

"W-Wait... Is he smiling ?" The boy asks, leaning forward, squinting his eyes.

"Mr. Tomioka is fucking smiling," the girl gasps out, she rubs her eyes and blinks rapidly to look at them and sure enough. The PE teacher that's known to be a strict teacher with a stone cold face and enigmatic figure is smiling. Smiling while being fed.
