A Stage of My Own (Male Kpop Idol Reader)

Back at it again with another chapter! Let's get into it, shall we?

Chan's Pov 8 AM

After months of shows and other activities, we finally had some time off. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, but sleeping was nice. I was the first one up and decided to make the members breakfast. While cooking slowly but surely, they all came to the table.

     "What are you making, Hyung? It smells great!"

I finish up the eggs and bacon and bring it to the table. "Nothing, toi crazy Minho."

     "Hey, since we are feeling, can we see if M/N can come over today," asked Felix.

I pulled out my phone only to see him manager calling.

Yoseob: Hey, Chan, do you know where your brother is?

Chan: No, why? Is everything? You sound frantic.

 Yoseob: He was scheduled for an interview an hour ago. I can not get in contact with him. I am at the TV station trying to stall, but everyone is getting antsy.

Chan: Yeah, I will go find him. 

I tell the boy that M/N can not come over and head out to find him. If my brother is anything like me, he will be in his studio. Getting to Around Us Entertainment, I booked it for his studio. Walking in, I see him slumped over in his chair with a pot of coffee next to him. His suit jacket was on the floor, and his hair was a mess. 

M/N's Pov 3 hours ago

After hours of working, the song is finished. The only thing I have to do is record the vocals. Looking at the clock, I see I was up all night. Yesterday, my work for LUX Fashion finished at three in the morning. I should have gone to bed, but my comeback was cumming up soon. I need to be at the station at seven, so I have an hour to sleep. That is better than nothing. I set my alarm and fall into dreamland. 

A small time skip to Chan waking him up

     "M/N, wake up."

He shakes my arms, and I look at him tiredly, rubbing my eyes. "What is it?"

     "Your manager asked me to find you. You are late to your interview."

I looked at my phone and saw I was an hour late. Didn't I set my alarm? Apon further inspection I set the alarm for 6 pm not A.M. Great I bet everyone is pissed.  

     "What time did you get to bed?"

     "Like an hour ago. I was working on things for LUX until three, then came to work on my song until 5. The plan was to get an hour of sleep and then hear to the TV station, but it looks like I overslept. Thanks for waking me up, Hyung!"

       "Let's go. Your manager texted me the address."

We arrive, and I see my team and manager. I quickly apologize and my team starts applying make up and fixing my hair. My stylist tells me a new suit is in my dressing room waiting for me with fresh coffee. I thank her a million and go to get changed. After getting changed and putting on make-up you would have never thought I only get two hours of sleep. I head out to the set, and everything is all ready. 

     "In three, two, one, rolling!"

I walk out with coffee in hand and wave to everyone. I scwint my eyes slightly the light being to bright. Shaking hands with Kin So-han I introduce myself.
