Kuina had practically dragged her through an uncountable number of corridors filled with resort rooms. She liked Kuina, so she decided to just get it over with.
Eventually, they reached a door labeled 'Room 309'. Kuina pushed the door open, making it clear that this was her own room. The room had one large double bed right in the centre against a wall. Without even being in the room a second, Kuina was already desperately scavenging through her seemingly endless drawer of swimsuits and short clothes. Min-ji stood there, watching her as she inspected a piece and decided it wasn't good enough, throwing it back into the drawer.
After a while, Kuina emerged from the dresser drawer for the last time, holding a teal blue halter bikini top with a darker shade of blue flowers scattered around it. The top edges of the bikini had fake flowers attached to a seam. Min-ji reluctantly took it, an uncomfortable look on her face as Kuina handed her the next item. A short pair of jean shorts.
"How about this?" Kuina asked, a look of hope on her face. She looks at the outfit in Min-ji's hands, her face telling her that she must've forgotten something. "Shoes!" She beamed, finding them much quicker this time. A white pair of beach sandals.
She held the clothes awkwardly, still unsure.
"Just try them on!" Kuina pushed, slightly cornering her closer to the bathroom. Sighing, Min-ji accepted her fate, raising her eyebrows as if to say 'Happy now?' as she closed the bathroom door behind her.
She stared at herself in the bathroom mirror. It must have been years since she last wore an outfit like this. Tugging at the shorts at an attempt to make them magically longer, she groaned, sliding on the shoes and re-entering the main room.
Kuina stood there impatiently, looking like she was styling her new muse. As she emerged from the bathroom, Kuina squealed with excitement.
"You look good! Now let's go back out shall we?" She said, seeming like there was only one answer.
A smirk tugged at the corner of Min-ji's mouth as she followed Kuina out the door, tying her jacket around her waist in an attempt to hide her stomach.
The sound of people partying became loud again as they approached the pool. Once again, her and Kuina stood facing the party. Kuina seemed to not push her. She was one of the first people to do that.
"Kuina." A blunt voice called out from behind them. Both her and Kuina turned around to see Chishiya stood there, hands stuffed in his pockets awkwardly. Min-ji blinked at him, her eyebrows slightly raised at the sight of him. Chishiya's eyes glanced at her for a second, before returning to Kuina.
"New friend?" He questioned. That look on his face told her everything she needed to know about what he was thinking. He knew it was her, obviously. She had seen that look before. Actually he did it a lot in sessions whenever he was thinking of what to say or whatever else went on inside that head of his.
"This is Min-ji." Kuina stated. She soon realised that Chishiya mustn't have told Kuina much about his life before all of this. Min-ji glares, trying to get into his head that to her, he's ignoring her.
She isn't exactly complaining about the fact that he's ignoring her. It's just outright rude in her head. He looks back at her, Kuina still by her side. He quickly looks away, the same cold expression on his face. Chishiya always looked like he was about to smile, but he never would. His lips were in an infinite mysterious smirk.
"Min-ji.." He says, she can't quite tell if that was a question or just him pondering. "What?" She replies, blatantly. His gaze is fixated on a spot between her and Kuina. He doesn't reply, giving her the confirmation he simply doesn't care about her presence. Without a word, he strolls off down another corridor, disappearing from her line of sight.
"That was.. odd." Kuina stuttered. A part of her wants to tell her everything about Chishiya's past. How she was his Therapist. How he would occasionally open up to her, whenever he felt like it. "..Yeah." Min-ji paused, pushing Chishiya to the back of her mind. "It was."

After the encounter with Chishiya, Kuina had convinced Min-ji to sit at the bar beside the pool. The music pierced her ears, the atmosphere was thrilling. She sat on a stool, drink on the counter in front of her. Kuina was next to her, cigarette between her lips. She scanned the crowd, bored out of her mind until she saw someone that she was sure she had seen before.
On a sun-bed on the opposite side of the pool sat Arisu and Usagi. Something seemed... off about Arisu. That other man he was with during tag wasn't present. Her mind thinks the worse as she imagines what Arisu probably witnessed.
Her eyes locked onto the same group of men she saw earlier holding firearms close by her and Kuina. Kuina must have seen Min-ji looking because she had spoke for the first time in around ten minutes.
"The Militants. I assume Hatter told you about them. Fucking dicks. That's Aguni, the leader. Niragi, his perverted 'right hand man'. Although I'm pretty sure Aguni hates his guts. That there is Samura, most people call him 'Last Boss' I personally think it sounds like something out of a video game but hey, I don't discriminate."
Samura. She thinks hard, not answering Kuina. Takatora Samura. Her most eerie patient, Chishiya a close 2nd. It couldn't be him. Could it? His face was covered in tattoos that looked like snakes coiling around his cheekbones and forehead. His head was now shaven bald, replacing the messy, never brushed full head of hair. His beard was now fully gone, leaving no hair left on his head.
Her eyebrows furrowed, just when Kuina broke her train of thoughts.
"Min-ji? Anyone home?" Hellooo!!" She grinned, waving an obnoxious hand in her face.
Min-ji sighed, nodding. "Yeah. I think." She tapped her fingers rhythmically on her glass.
Just as she looked back out to the crowd, she spotted Chishiya. She heard Kuina gasp.
"He's never at the pool. Hates water." She explained.
"I can tell he does." Min-ji replied, scoffing at Chishiya's presence. If he was going to pretend like he hated her, so would she.
His hand raises, the other still in his pocket. He waves, that same creepy face. Her lips curl, eyebrows furrowing.
When he keeps his hand up, she raises both of hers, taking them out of her pockets. She gets both hands in the air just in front of her, placing one fist beside the other. Slowly, she winds her left hand which causes her to raise her middle finger on her right. She grins sarcastically when a hand forces hers back down.
Kuina snickers with amusement as she attempts to keep herself from falling off the stool.
Min-ji looks back up to see Chishiya gone, it's as if he was never there.
