Peace?

Not in this house.

The morning light filtered through my curtains, casting a soft glow over my room. My blankets were warm, wrapping me in the last traces of sleep. I sighed contentedly, curling deeper into them—

Until my door burst open.

“Mimi! Wake up!”

Before I could even process what was happening, my blanket was yanked away, and a gust of cold air hit me like a slap.

I groaned, rolling onto my stomach. “Go away.”

Rayan’s mischievous laugh echoed as he jumped onto my bed, shaking me like an earthquake. “You’ve been sleeping forever!”

I peeked at the clock—9 AM.

“That’s not forever,” I mumbled, pulling my pillow over my head.

“It is if you’re the last one awake!”

Before I could respond, Rayan stole my pillow and whacked me with it before scrambling away like a little gremlin.

I sat up, scowling. “Rayan, give it back.”

He grinned. “Come get it.”

I lunged, but he dodged, giggling as he ran around my bed.

Before I could catch him, my door opened again, and this time, my two older brothers strolled in like they owned the place.

Saad Bhai crossed his arms. “Still in bed?”

Aliyan Bhai smirked. “Impressive. Even Rayan woke up before you.”

I glared at them. “You both have nothing better to do?”

Saad Bhai grinned. “Nope.”

Aliyan Bhai suddenly picked up a pillow, examining it like a weapon. “Should we wake her up the hard way?”

Saad Bhai cracked his knuckles. “I think we should.”

I sat up immediately. “Don’t you dare.”

They ignored me.

One second later—WHACK!

A pillow hit my face.

That was it. War had begun.

I grabbed my own pillow and launched an attack, making Rayan squeal in excitement.

The next few minutes were pure chaos—pillows flying, laughter echoing, Rayan dramatically counting us down like a wrestling referee.

“Three! Two! One! Mimi loses!”

I gasped. “What? I’m literally winning!”

He shook his head. “Nope! Saad Bhai is the champion!”
