Jack Frost zipped through the Warren, leaving a thin layer of frost trailing in his wake. The cool air clashed beautifully with the warmth of the vibrant, blooming landscape. It was the perfect way to rile up Bunny Mudd—better known as the Easter Bunny.

“Oh, come on, Frostbite!” Bunny called, hopping effortlessly across the lush grass. “Ya leave one more icy footprint ‘round ‘ere, and I’m gonna use ya as a snow globe decoration!”

Jack grinned, twirling his staff and landing lightly on a rock. “Pfft, as if you could catch me, Kangaroo.”

Bunny’s ears twitched, and he immediately turned toward M/n, who had been watching the playful back-and-forth with mild amusement. “Oi, M/n, ya hear that? Frosty’s gettin’ a bit too bold for ‘is own good.”

M/n sighed, shaking his head. “Bunny, you’ve been at him since we got here.”

Bunny smirked. “’Cause it’s fun! Look at ‘im! All scrawny and floaty like a dandelion. ‘Cept colder and twice as annoying.”

Jack gasped, feigning offense. “Excuse you! I am neither scrawny nor annoying—right, M/n?” He turned to his protector, blue eyes pleading for backup.

M/n crossed his arms and gave Bunny a pointed look. “Jack’s not annoying. He’s just enthusiastic.”

Jack beamed. “See? M/n gets it.”

Bunny rolled his eyes, ears flopping as he tapped a foot against the ground. “You baby ‘im too much. No wonder he keeps causin’ trouble.”

M/n arched a brow. “And what’s your excuse? You’ve been teasing him since we got here.”

Bunny grinned. “’Cause he makes it too easy. Look at ‘im! A twig with a stick, flyin’ ‘round like he’s the king of winter.”

Jack huffed, stomping a foot on the rock. “I am the King of Winter, thank you very much!”

Bunny snorted. “More like the Prince of Pranks.” He gestured at M/n. “How d’you put up with ‘im all the time?”

M/n smirked. “Easy. I actually like Jack.”

Jack gasped again, dramatically clutching his chest. “Oh, M/n, you do care!” He floated over and leaned against him, batting his lashes.

Bunny groaned. “Ugh, you two are disgustin’. Get a room.”

Jack waggled his eyebrows. “Oh, jealous, are we? Don’t worry, Bunny, we can get you a cuddle buddy too.”

Bunny narrowed his eyes. “I swear, Frostbite, one more word an’ I’m tyin’ ya up with a ribbon an’ leavin’ ya as a present for North.”

M/n stepped in before Jack could retaliate. “Alright, alright. That’s enough teasing for today.” He turned to Bunny with a smirk. “Or are you finally admitting that you can’t out-snark Jack?”

Bunny gasped as if truly offended. “Me? Admit defeat to this frozen troublemaker? Never!”

Jack grinned triumphantly. “Hah! Victory is mine!”

M/n chuckled, ruffling Jack’s hair before gently pushing him toward the exit. “Come on, Ice Prince. Let’s get out of here before Bunny starts plotting his revenge.”

Bunny crossed his arms but smirked. “Oh, don’t worry, mate. I’ll get ya both back. Just wait till next Easter.”

Jack gave him a two-finger salute. “Looking forward to it, Kangaroo!”

As M/n and Jack disappeared into the swirling winter winds, Bunny chuckled to himself. “Lucky kid’s got himself a good one.”

Shaking his head, he hopped off, already thinking of new ways to get back at the mischievous winter spirit. But even he had to admit—Jack had found someone who would always have his back.
