A/N: I tried. This chapter was difficult to write, but I did my best. I'm not sure if this is how Aliana should have reacted, but this is how I saw their first time happening. Please enjoy!

The ride on the boat from Junon to Costa Del Sol had been entertaining, to say the least. Alia hadn't thought the journey across the sea would result in several murders due to Sephiroth being onboard and having to fight and destroy a monster he brought on the ship. Regardless, she and her friends survived, and when the ship landed at Costa Del Sol the following morning, the blonde warrior was glad to be able to step onto land again.
As she and the others were the last to leave - as they had been stowaways the entire time - she waited in the shadows until they could leave. Before doing so, they removed their disguises, resuming their journey in their usual attire. Stepping off the boat, Alia swore the coastal sun was brighter than she'd ever seen. Shielding her eyes from the brightness, she glanced around. Other soldiers were walking around, and she vaguely wondered where Heidegger and Rufus were. They had probably exited first and wandered the rest of the coastal city.
The sound of rotating blades caught her attention. Looking up, she noticed a Shinra helicopter in the sky staying stationary while waiting for orders to land on the pad at the corner of the wharf. Alia's eyes widened.
Who's on the helicopter? Could it be Reno? She thought to herself, trying not to pique her hope.
Watching her friends as they walked off toward the town, Alia kept herself behind. Maneuvering behind several cargo bins, she waited. The helicopter finally landed after several minutes, and when the blades had gradually slowed, several Turks existed through the wide doors.
One of them was Reno.
Alia's eyes widened as she moved to step forward before forcing herself to remain hidden. What could she do, walk straight toward the enemy and ask politely to speak with the redhead? No. She'd have to stay hidden. Tossing her head back and forth, Alia looked to see if there was another way around. The bins she hid behind expanded several hundred feet closer to the end of the wharf. Using that to hide herself, Alia traversed as far as she could go, staying in the shadow of the bins, all while watching the Turks from afar. They were standing there beneath the helicopter blades, talking with each other. Suddenly, Rufus appeared from the opposite side, talking to the long-haired Turk - Tseng. They shared words before turning to the other Turks to relay orders, presumably about what they should be doing next and where they should be going.
Alia wished for nothing more than to walk right over to them and say hi. But she couldn't. Her group and the Turks were enemies. They both, seemingly, were going after Sephiroth, but Alia knew there was something deeper they were looking for. She'd spent several nights thinking of what they wanted but couldn't place what it might be. Without realizing it, Alia had stepped from behind the bin, trying to obtain a better position of the Turks who stood several hundred feet before her. Their conversation was too far away for her to hear.
Fumbling her hand against the pouch against her thigh, Alia pulled out the two notes she received from Reno. They were tearing slightly at the edges with how many times she had opened and refolded each piece of paper. Every night before bed, she read each, memorizing what each note said. For some reason, it gave the AVALANCHE member a sense of peace, knowing Reno had risked his position and Rude's to give these to her. She knew Reno would face risks if he continued to give her more notes. There were many rumors about what would happen to Turks if they, for whatever reason, were to leave their position. And if that was from the person's decision to leave, she couldn't imagine the punishment if Rufus or Tseng discovered what Reno had been doing with the enemy.
