Chasity

𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐨

We're still on the boat but it's a little more later and the sun is starting to set. We're all sitting around talking. Vincent is making dinner and Chasity is in the kitchen helping him. I'm playing around with Tahj. I've always loved kids. I have no siblings myself so anytime I'm around children I always play with them. Tahj was now running around and I was chasing him. I can't lie he's fast as hell. I finally start to catch up to him but he trips over his foot and falls. I quickly pick him up but he's already crying. "Shit" I say lowly. I walk back over to the kitchen trying to calm down.

As soon as Chasity hears him crying she rushes over. "Mr. Sweet Face what happened?" She says grabbing him out my arms. He doesn't say anything he just keeps crying. "Ethan what happened?" "I was chasing him and he tripped over his foot" She sats him on the counter and looks at him. He has a really bad scrape on his left kneecap. "Chas I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have chased him" "It's okay. It's not your fault." She grabs some paper towels and runs it under water and comes back to clean his cut.

Vincent walks in with a first aid kid. "Here bambina" "Thanks dad" She says taking it out of his hand. She opens it and cleans his cuts, and quickly puts a bandaid on. "See baby? All better!" she then kisses the bandaid and starts attacking his face with kisses. He was still upset so she starts tickling him to make him laugh. He smiles at her and then gives her grabby hands. She picks him up and hugs her. He gives her a kiss on the cheek and gets down. He grabs my hand and pulls me away. "Come on Ethan let's play some more." "Okay little man lets go" I smile at Chas and walk away with Tahj.

I played with Tahj for about 15 minutes until dinner was ready. We all sit at the table and start eating. Tonight we're eating steak, mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Dinner went how it usually went. Seperate conversations. Some were talking about how the trip was and how we have to go back home tomorrow, and others wishing we could stay here longer. I look over to Chasity and she's helping Thaj eat. I can't lie she's been acting normal. Too normal.

I know what happened to her the other day was tramatic but she's actually hiding her feelings well. I guess the purpose of us having a busy day today went well. We planned this so last minute yesterday, her brothers and dad knew this would take her mind off of things and it worked. But I have a feeling that things might hit her later tonight.
