In Bed With the brothers

The song played on, but suddenly, it wasn't just a dance anymore. Kenneth held me close, his hands strong and secure, but my mind was somewhere else. Or rather... with someone else.

I could still feel him watching me.

Every brush of my body against Kenneth's, every slow sway, every breath-it was all being seen.

I risked another glance.

George was still standing there, drink in hand, but something had changed. His eyes had darkened, his chest rose and fell a little heavier, and there was tension in his jaw that hadn't been there before. He took another sip of his drink, slow, deliberate, but it wasn't the liquor that had his attention.

It was me.

I swallowed hard, heat curling in my stomach.

"You okay, baby?" Kenneth's voice was soft, his fingers tilting my chin back toward him.

I forced a smile. "Yeah... just caught up in the moment."

And it wasn't a lie.

Because when I glanced back again, George was gone.

My stomach twisted.

I should've felt relieved.

I wasn't.

Later That Night

The party had begun to slow. Guests were slipping away, the music had softened, and the dim lighting gave everything a golden, intimate glow. Kenneth had stepped away to speak with friends, leaving me alone by the bar.

I reached for a glass of champagne, but before I could take a sip-

A warm presence appeared beside me.

I didn't have to look to know who it was.

His cologne-dark, musky, sinful-wrapped around me like a warning.

"You dance beautifully," his voice was deep, just above a whisper.

I turned my head slightly, just enough to meet his gaze.

"You were watching?" I asked, my voice softer than I intended.

His lips quirked in the faintest smirk. "I think you already know the answer to that."

My breath hitched.

This was wrong. So wrong.

But when his fingers brushed against mine-just for a second, just enough to make my pulse race-I realized something.

It might be wrong.

But I didn't want to stop.
