Li being Liam because she has been with him the entire time. However she never died. It doesn't mean however that she has forgotten to love him. She sees Killian as her brother. Maybe that they were engaged. She knew the brothers really well. She is really protective of Killian. She also stays behind with Killian to help him. She does kinda hate Liam after because of the way he left Killian behind. But also with how he never listened to her.

Power history: She has always had potential to get powers when she was born. It had been because her dad had been with someone else that had magic. However her mom never really wanted kids and the moment she was born she had fled. When she was 10 she began to get somewhat used to using her powers. However this would take a while for her because she has pretty powerful powers. Because of this she would also go on the ship her dad would be on a lot. When she was 15 she went with her dad to the ships. However instead of bringing her home she was basically shipped off with two other kids.
