It was the next day. Although Chuuya and Dazai had only joined a few days ago, they had already settled in well. Class was chaotic as usual - Bakugo was yelling, Momo was trying to organize everything, and Mineta was annoying everyone with his endless questions. But Dazai and Chuuya quickly adjusted. They weren't the most conspicuous, but their presence was unmistakable.
"Did you hear that, Dazai? We're going to USJ today!" Kirishima called from the seat next to them. "This is going to be really cool!"
Dazai looked up and grinned slightly. "Oh, USJ? That sounds fun. It'll be exciting to see how all these quirks work in practice."
"Like a circus," Chuuya muttered, clearly uninterested in all the commotion. "Hopefully this won't be too annoying."
Dazai laughed softly and shrugged. "Come on, Chuuya. Let's have some fun. You'll see, it'll be better than you think."
The two had become friends with their classmates over the past few days, but they were still a little different. Dazai had a relaxed demeanor that made him seem like an observer, while Chuuya mostly avoided the quieter conversations, preferring to focus on training. Nevertheless, they were an unmistakable team.
Shortly afterward, Aizawa entered the classroom with the urgent announcement that it was time to leave for USJ. The students quickly gathered, and everyone boarded the bus to head to the training grounds. Dazai and Chuuya sat together on one of the back benches, with Dazai still appearing calm, while Chuuya stared out the window, a little annoyed.
"I bet it'll be another boring exercise," Chuuya grumbled. "Just like the whole school day..."
"You really are a master of positivity, aren't you?" Dazai replied with a crooked grin."Just leave me alone," Chuuya grumbled. "I just don't want some quirk-addicted hero driving me crazy again."
Dazai shrugged and relaxed. "You're just jealous because you can't even look at all these quirks in peace without refraining from making a comment."
"Shut up," Chuuya replied without looking at him.
The bus finally rolled through the streets and continued its journey to USJ. During the ride, the other students chatted excitedly. Bakugo seemed to have little interest in the others, but Kirishima and some of the others were fully engaged, discussing the upcoming exercise. Chuuya and Dazai stood aside, watching the whole thing with a certain disinterest, preparing themselves for what was to come.
Class 1-A stood excitedly in front of the USJ. It was their first trip to this vast training ground, and everyone was filled with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. While most of the students chatted among themselves and encouraged each other to achieve their expected performances, Dazai Osamu remained calm and reserved. He observed the grounds with a neutral gaze, almost as if absorbing the atmosphere. Chuuya Nakahara, on the other hand, was obviously less enthusiastic. He walked through the crowd with his arms crossed and a sigh, still annoyed by all the commotion.
"So, who of you thinks something interesting is going to happen today?" Dazai asked casually as he stood next to Chuuya.
"Probably nothing," Chuuya muttered, not really understanding the thrill of the whole event. "Just another day at school, nothing more."
"You really are a positive thinker," Dazai said with a mocking smile, but he knew he wasn't entirely serious. "Who knows, maybe something will come along that surprises us both."
At the entrance to the USJ, they waited for the speech from Hero 13, who would serve as the lead figure for the exercise. As they gathered, Chuuya noticed that some of the students were nervous, while others waited with a mixture of excitement and anticipation. Even though they all knew it was "just" an exercise, no one had any idea that this would be the beginning of a completely different scenario.
"Welcome to USJ," Hero 13 began in her soothing voice. She explained the different zones of the grounds and the sequence of the exercise, which was designed to help the students test their Quirks under realistic conditions."Where is All Might?" Mineta suddenly asked loudly, seemingly nervous.
"Unfortunately, he won't be present today," Aizawa explained in his typically calm voice. "He was already on patrol this morning and cannot participate in the exercise."Aizawa then raised three fingers and added, "Stay calm. You'll see that everything will be fine even without All Might. Today's focus is on teamwork and preparation."
Just as he finished his explanation, the class heard a strange noise break the silence. Dazai, who was watching the scene with watchful eyes, was the first to notice something unusual - a purple portal that suddenly appeared in the center of the USJ. It was subtle, almost imperceptible, yet to Dazai, it was fascinating.
"Interesting, looks like I was right," he murmured, quietly amused, but he didn't say anything else. It wasn't the right moment to point it out, and somehow he wasn't sure the others would even notice.
No sooner had he finished the thought than Kaminari exclaimed with his typical, exuberant energy: "WOW, even fake villains have been hired!"
"So cool!" Mina exclamed. That's when Aizawa's attention was caugt. He looked at the portal, drew a sharp line between his eyebrows, and immediately took action.
"Stay in cover these are real villains," he called out in a gruff voice. "13, you stay with the students and take care of security!"
With astonishing speed and precision, Aizawa leaped down into the arena to deal with the villains. Hero 13 immediately began escorting the students to safety and protecting them while Aizawa fought the "Fake Villains" pouring out of the purple portal.
"Iida," Aizawa said quickly, "you're the fastest. Get help!"
Iida nodded and started running, as fast as the wind. But barely had he covered the first few meters when Kurogiri, who was in control of the portal, grabbed him and blocked his path. The villain had an small evil smile on his lips as he blocked Iida with a swift movement.
"You're not getting past here," Kurogiri said in a cold voice as he attacked Iida. "We're here to make sure All Might takes his last breath."
Meanwhile, Hero 13 focused on getting the students to safety, but the fight escalated. Kurogiri quickly teleported to 13 and sent her on the offensive with her own Quirk - a black hole that 13 intended to turn against him, but he had excessive control. He teleported the black hole back to her, and the attack hit her with full force. 13 collapsed, now incapacitated."13!" shouted a worried Kirishima, but he was immediately distracted by Bakugo and Chuuya, who were already facing the threat.
"Tsk, this won't last long," Chuuya muttered as he saw the scene.
"Stop talking, you idiot!" Bakugo yelled as he flew towards Kurogiri with a massive explosion. Kirishima also ran towards him, wanting to give the others an advantage. Chuuya decided to help, so he didn't wait long and rushed towards Kurogiri.
But Kurogiri had other plans. With a lightning-fast movement, he teleported the other students, one by one, to their assigned zones.
"Huh?" Chuuya muttered as he suddenly found himself in a burning building.
