Neil and Aarohi both were stuck in a hotel room. It was raining heavily outside and this was a hill station. Surely, when Aarohi was heavily pregnant, coming there was stupid.
A totally dumb decision.
'Neil! I will kill you. This fucking hurts'
Aarohi Goenka, the mini babbar sherni of her mother, glared at her husband who couldn't help but look worriedly at her.
"I am sorry meri jaan. I didn't know it would cause us so big", Neil said and held her hand.
"Do something! Oh god! I don't think we can even make up for daai maa nearby. The hospital is a far away thing", she cried.
"Ok. Ok. Aarohi. I understand. You are a doctor right? Tell me what should I do. We will do it", he said.
"Aah...I guess we'll have to do birth here only", Aarohi cried.
Neil followed her lead. He made her lie down pulling her underwear down. He helped her spread her legs a bit.
"Just push Aaru. You can tear of my skin with your nails but put all your strength. You can do this. You have got this!" He encouraged.
Aarohi nodded. She cried out.
The contractions hit her hard. But she didn't wait. She kept pushing.
Neil kept whiskering soothing words in her ears. He caressed her hair as he looked ahead trying to maintain his calm.
"I-its coming", Aarohi said.
Neil smiled big. "Go on Aarohi. Think about our child. We need to meet our lifeline. Go one Aarohi", Neil said.
Aarohi pushed and pushed. Until she got tired.
"No. Baby? Do this. Aarohi!" Neil said.
Aarohi felt hot tears rolling down her cheeks. This just pained so much. But as another contraction hit, something clicked inside her.
She pushed hard. Her scream echoed in the room followed by a melodious cry.
"YES!" Neil shouted. He rushed and picked the baby up.
He was crying hard.
"Just ...just wait a minute Aarohi", Neil whispered. He cleaned the baby and took a cloth from nearby. He wrapped the baby in it.
"Neil", Aarohi cried.
"Aaru", Neil smiled with big tears.
He walked towards her and kept the baby on her. Aarohi cried hard as she hugged the baby gently.
"T-that's a princess", he said.
Aarohi nodded sobbing quietly. Neil kissed on her forehead.
They had waited for this moment for so long.
Both of them stared at their little ball of sunshine. Their unicorn baby!
"Welcome to our world sweetheart. Thank you for making it so bright", he said.
"Welcome R-Ruhi", Aarohi whispered.
They had already decided the names.
"Thank you for this beautiful gift, wifey", Neil said genuinely.
"Thank you to you too", Aarohi chuckled.
They pampered their daughter as she cried. And soon, the little girl slept.
"I guess she's on you", Aarohi said.
"Maybe! Though her nose matches you", Neil chuckled.
"Hey Neil! Don't touch her. She'll wake up", Aarohi scolded.
"But I can't wait!" Neil exclaimed softly. Aarohi chuckled softly seeing him.
Both couldn't believe still.
Their little princess was finally here!
