N: Lady? My eyes go back to normal.
L: I'm sorry.
N: It's okay. Nik hugged me and kissed my forehead. We then go to the chair where Nik helps me sit down as I close my eyes.
Caroline: What are we even looking for? Caroline asks, trying to steer away at what just happened.
Stefan: Well if Shane really was working with Silas chances are he was helping him plan his next move.
Caroline: Where on his evil villain to do list? Steal blood, form three massacres, pick up dry cleaning.
N: Actually not to nitpick but we evil villains usually use minions to pick up our dry cleaning that sort of thing.
L: Or just do the dry cleaning ourselves.
Caroline: Why are they necessary again?
Stefan: We don't know what Silas can do so if we do have to go head to head with him an original hybrid who can't die and an Indigo might come in handy.
N: Actually, Lydia won't be helping with the head to head stuff.
Caroline: How come?
L: I'm indisposed.
Caroline: Look we all saw what happened and I doubt it makes you indisposed. I roll my eyes.
L: Not that. Can't you hear?
Caroline: Hear what?
Stefan: The heartbeat coming from Lydia's stomach. I thought I was just hearing things, but judging by the heartbeat and the ring on your finger I say congratulations are in order for you two.
N: Thank you Stefan. I smile.
Caroline: Wait, you're pregnant and engaged? I nod.
Caroline: How?
L: He proposed and got me pregnant.
Caroline: I understand he proposed, but how are you pregnant? It's impossible for a vampire to have children.
L: I'm not a vampire and Nik is part werewolf hence...
N: Hence how we made a baby.
Caroline: Oh well I'm happy for you two.
N: Besides Stefan and I work well together or at least we did in the twenties.
Stefan: Well granted my uh my emotions were off.
N: And that's why you were more fun. Nik lifts me up and sits in the chair as he then puts me on his lap as I lean into him.
N: Just like Damon is relishing in Elena's emotionless company in New York.
L: Which is weird that he'd go there considering what happened to him there in the seventies with Lexi.
Stefan: How do you know that?
L: I know a lot of things Stefan. I thought you knew that. I smirk.
Stefan: My brother knows what he's doing.
N: Does he? Don't underestimate the allure of darkness Stefan. Even the purest hearts are drawn to it. Nik and I look at Caroline and know that she has felt it while being a vampire and while hanging out with Claudia. It's something that not even Tyler could give her.
L: I know I have, but then again I'm me. I smile as Nik kisses the side of my head.
N: Still I'm sure it'll all be fine.
Carolien: I-I think I found something. Caroline comes over to the desk with a book.
Caroline: Symbolic figures in the dark arts. Didn't Bonnie talk about expression triangles? Stefan then reads how the expression triangle happens. You need a human sacrifice and two supernatural sacrifices to complete the triangle.
Caroline: Humans, the council fire, demons, Klaus' hybrid failures.
N: Well I wouldn't exactly call it a failure, what's the third?
L: Witches. Now you have to find out where it'll take place.

Caroline gets out a map and a ruler to find the next massacre.
Caroline: There's been two massacres. Pastor Young's massacre is here and the old Lockwood cellar where you spitefully slaughtered twelve of your own hybrids is here. I hug Nik from behind and kiss behind his neck.
L: It's okay. It was their fault.
N: I know. He holds my hands.
Caroline: According to the book, the expression triangle is equilateral putting it here.
N: Somebody has been skipping their geometry classes.
L: Cat would know exactly how to do this.
N: There are actually two places that the third massacre could be.
Caroline: Well you didn't let me finish.
L: The massacres would all have the same distance between them with the witch one as the primary one.
Caroline: Why?
L: Silas was a witch before he became immortal. He would be close to the witch massacre as he would be the most heart broken.
Caroline: Like Silas would ever be heartbroken. I bury my head into Nik's back as Stefan comes in through the door.
Caroline: Hey what's going on? Did you find Bonnie?
Stefan: No, but I talked to her dad. I think I found Silas. Nik, Stefan, and Caroline go and try to stop the sacrifice which I know won't work, but if I tell them then they won't believe me besides Nik and they wouldn't believe him either. I decided to go see Cat and Kol and Natalie. I told Nik that I would spend the night there as well. As I'm laying in bed with Natalie asleep, I open my eyes and a few moments later Natalie opens her eyes as well.
Nattie: Mommy?
L: Yes?
Nattie: The triangle is done.
L: It is sweetie. It's done.
Nattie: Will daddy be okay?
L: I'm hoping he will. We then fall asleep hoping Nik is okay.
