not your first (PARK JISUNG)

"Hey Harin, what's up? Why are you out here on campus?" Yewon sat beside the girl who was on the bench peacefully reading a book, earphones on each of her ears.

"Oh.. hey Yewon.. I'm just reading here outside waiting for my next class" Yewon smiled at her and nodded as she breathed in the fresh air.

The tree beside them covering the sunlight for the two young ladies. "How about you? What brings you here Yewon?"

"My class just ended and I stopped by the cafeteria for some coffee but then I dropped it, I don't know how- just when I exited and now I'm here with you" Yewon sighed and Harin who was listening chuckled lightly while patting her back.

"That's awful, I seriously would've cried and gone home" Yewon's lips tugged up at her comment before shaking her head. "Yup, it's sad really like that's the only thing that keeps me going"

Harin's eyes glanced up to where her smooth hair was slightly pinned back by the cheese hairpin she had got the other day.

"Your hairpin is cute.. where did you get it?" Yewon stared back at her and showed her the other side of her head, another cheese hairpin was put there.

"I know right? Look they're a pair! The packet I got had 3 different hairpin pairs designs- it's so cute really so I put the cheese one today"

Harin smiled and nodded her head in approval "It really suits you and your hair Yewon- like really reallyy"

Yewon rolled her eyes and jokingly nudged Harin's arm to which the girl chuckled in response, back straight and sitting up straight, her presence screamed simplicity and cleanliness with a touch of elegance and attractiveness.

Yewon just stared at the other girl almost in awe, she looked so clean, so flawless- she even smelled good. "You know you could actually pull some of the hot sunbaes on campus" Yewon smirked, wiggling her brows at her.

Harin blinked her eyes and shook her head followed with a faint laugh "Says you, I really think you're one of the prettiest girls I've seen"

"Well I'm afraid you haven't seen enough" Yewon laughed which made Harin shake her head "Shut uppp you are literally so good looking"

"Coming from someone who literally is a mix of two beauty goddesses" Now it was Harin's turn to laugh and Yewon just rolling her eyes with a smile on her face.

Silence then once again surrounded them, Yewon exhaling a breath with a smile as the sunny and bright day boosted her mood up along with the company of Harin.

Just then, Harin cleared her throat, meaning she wanted to say something "Hey.. uh.. I haven't told this to anyone but there's this sunbae in 3rd year.. lee haechan? And well-"

Yewon's jaw slightly dropped "See! You really do pull hot guys! One from 3rd year too, gosh Harin what a talent" The other just laughed awkwardly.

"Yeah.. no... It's nothing like that" Yewon raised a brow at her and smirked "Sure sure- oh fuck.. it's time to go back to class" She groaned, standing up to her feet and grabbing her stuffs giving Harin a teasing grin.

"See you tomorrow Harin- oh and if you want more info about that guy just ask Sunhee! They're cousins after all!" Yewon laughed at the other girl's shocked and priceless face before waving her a goodbye, walking back into the building.

"Alright Park, let's get this started shall we?"
"Yeah"

They were at the library, starting on their project. Not a lot of people were in the room, considering the sun was about to set.

"Let's discuss the stuffs we have to do and divide it fairly and clearly for now.. because those uninterested eyes are telling me that you're dead gone" Yewon rolled her eyes as she said that to him.

"I had practice." Jisung retorted as he sat up straight on his seat. "Wow.. I'm tired too you know? I waited almost two hours for you just to discuss about this"

Jisung looked at her unbothered and Yewon looked back at him with a raised brow. The boy sighed "We could've done this another day"

"Oh really now genius? Tell me where do I get the time? Exactly" The girl sighed as she massaged her temples, the cheese hairpin loosing itself slightly from her hair.

Jisung watched her and his eyes drifted to the hairpins that was almost falling off her hair. He looked away and scoffed "Whatever. Let's just start."

Yewon hummed before straightening her posture and taking her hair clips off to fix her hair, leaving it on the table as Jisung observed briefly before closing his eyes.

"Oh right.. about the hair clips.. why did you buy it for me?" His eyes fluttered back open as they locked gazes with each other.

Jisung's lips formed a thin line before averting his attention forward "Just to repay you" he answered mindlessly.

Yewon narrowed her eyebrows in confusion "What? For what exactly? I don't think I've done anything good to please you, Park"

Jisung scoffed "Glad that you've realised that" Yewon rolled her eyes and shifted her attention back to her ipad and notes "Asshole" she uttered back.

His eyes returned to the girl's figure "It was to repay your coffee that my dog ran over. Happy?"

She stopped reading the notes she had in her hands, her mind stopping. Her sour mood turned into an uncontrollable grin that started to spread throughout her face. Oh, he remembers.

Yewon looked back and he was already looking at her, not too far and not too close. The reason her lips tugged up is because of the unexpected thing the boy would say.

"Is this your way of apologising?" She teased him and Jisung just sat there with his patience running low, grabbing his computer and opening it.

"Just shut up and let's start this now."
She didn't know why but the fact that Jisung willingly wanted to buy the hair clips for her as a way to say sorry, as he should, made her feel seen and thankful.

She guessed that he had some conscience after all. He just didn't show it. Jisung's style of saying sorry is not by words but by giving gifts. In this case for Yewon, that's what she thought.

Yewon took the hair clips from the table where she left it before putting it back on her hair. She glanced at Jisung whose eyes were on his computer. His left hand on the table to support his head and the other one, scrolling thru his mouse.

Yewon cleared her throat before tapping his arm gently making his eyes shift to hers immediately. His unchangeable poker face on display as he waited for her to say something.

She gave him a smile, a sincere one. "Thank you, Jisung.. I mean it.. thanks"

Jisung turned to her and eyed her goofy expression while not saying anything. He let out a short exhale through his nose before nodding lazily, returning his attention back to the computer.
