The days grew closer. And the day came. Leah would be leaving Olivia and Louie to go to Belgium to play international football out there. Although it was only for 2 days, they had never been apart. Not when Louie was here either.
The two were soaking in their last few moments together. Sat on the sofa of their own home for the day, Louie and Leah's comfort, Leah's arm around Olivia's shoulders, she felt at ease knowing Olivia would have Alessia at the end of the phone but.. it just didn't seem right leaving."Le, I can hear your thoughts, that's how loud you're thinking." Olivia chuckled, leaning her head slightly to look at Leah."
"i know, i just hate the thought of leaving you with Louie all on your own." Leah whispered, studying Olivia's face. "I won't wake up to cuddle you."
Olivia tutted at Leah and kissed her cheek gently. "We'll be fine, you're gonna go kick some arses and come home to your fiancée and baby."
Leah smiled at that word. "Fiancée. I like that." Leah chuckled. "Kinda crazy. We've got our own baby, getting married, what more could we want?"
"A dog?" Olivia smirked, knowing that was not happening anytime soon.
"Liv, you know I would love to get us a dog if we weren't so committed to our jobs." Leah smiled weakly.
"I know baby. I know." Olivia kissed Leah's cheek. "We'll have everything we need right here. Me, you and Louie."
"Yeah." Leah breathed. "That's right." Leah rubbed Olivia's back, looking back at Louie. "He might be bigger when I come home."
"Leah." Olivia looked at Leah seriously, biting her lip trying to hold in the laugh. "It's two days, we can do that."
"I know." Leah throws her head back. "I just wish you could be there."
"I'm sorry, I wish I could be too, you know I would be if I could, don't you?" Olivia stated.
"Of course baby."
The day consisted of Leah and Olivia cuddling on the sofa with Louie between them. That was until 5:30pm. Leah had to leave.
"Have you got everything sorted?" Olivia whispered sadly.
"Yeah." Leah replied in the same tone. "Can I call you when I get to the hotel?" She inquired.
"Of course, Le." Olivia breathed, hesitantly. "So.. um.. I'll see you Saturday?"
Leah tutted, wrapping her arms around Olivia's shoulders, resting her chin onto Olivia's head. "Don't say goodbye like that sweetheart."
Olivia took her arms and placed them around Leah's waist. Tears threatened to fall. "I love you Leah."
"I love you sweetheart." Leah whispered, a tear falling from her eye. She wiped it quickly. "I'll call you every morning and every night to make sure you and Louie bear are okay, yeah?"
"Yeah." Olivia weakly smiled into Leah's neck. "I'll miss you."
"I know baby. I know." Leah replied. "I'll miss you too, but, I'll be back before you know it. Saturday night, I'll come straight back and come cuddle you to sleep, deal?"
"Deal." Olivia smiled, pulling away. "Right, you better head off, Beth's probably waiting at hers for you." She continued, looking away, wiping her tears she hadn't realised had fallen.
"Hey, look at me." Leah murmured. "Look at that ring on your finger and think of me, I did that, because I love and care about you more than I ever have about anybody else. You're mine, im yours."
Olivia crashed her lips onto Leah's. "God I love you." She breathed a heavy breath onto Leah's lips. "I love you so much."
"I love you sweetheart."
After saying goodbye, Leah left, after many tears with Olivia and Louie. She sat in the car before texting Olivia. Olivia got the notification and smiled immediately.
my le❤️x
don't forget how much I bloody love you my mrs and my beautiful fiancée. XOlivia chuckled at how much of a simp Leah was. Replying with tears flowing down her face. Leah received the message, now she was smiling.
my livs❤️❤️
you got this baby, we both love you so fucking much, go kick arses (just not mine)🫶🫶Leah drove away from the driveway, tears flowing just like Olivia. She couldn't believe she had just left her fiancée alone with a baby.
Olivia sat on the sofa, unable to comprehend what she had to do. Last two days on her own with a newborn. For the first time. She couldn't agree that she would do it very well.
A few hours in, Louie began fussing, Olivia panicked. It was almost like she was a new mummy again. Trying to keep calm, she got up and made her way to the bouncer he was in. "It's okay Lou, mummy's here." Olivia whispered, gently picking the small boy up and comforting him. Olivia soon felt the heat of the young baby. "Oh baby, you're so warm, are you sick maybe?" Panic grew within her. What would she do?
It was almost like a sign. Leah began FaceTiming her. She answered straight away. "Hey my girl, I just thought I'd ring and see how you were." The girl stated once seeing her fiancée's face, she realised she was stressed. "What's wrong Liv? Is it Louie?"
"Le, he's so warm.. I don't know what to do!" Olivia states, showing Louie to Leah over the phone.
"Okay, put him into a little bodysuit, you know the ones with the short sleeves?" Leah stated.
"Yeah.. but Leah.. he's a week and a bit old.. he might die." Olivia panicked, leading into a panic attack.
"Livvy, I need you to listen to me, hand on your chest." Leah instructed with a calm voice. "Breathe in for 5." Leah says, breathing with Olivia. "Now hold." Olivia does so. "And let all that breath go, baby."
Olivia breathed, heavy, sobbing. "L-Le.. it-it's not ev-en be-been a-a da-y.. I-I ne-ed y-you."
Leah's heart broke. "I know sweetheart. Two days. That's all you need to do. Why don't you go to Lessi? She can help with Louie. Give her a ring." Leah suggested.
"B-Bu-t.." Olivia went to say but she was cut off my a wail from Louie. "Oh Lou."
"Put the phone near him sweetheart." Leah's voice travelled through the phone. Olivia moves the phone nearer to Louie, so he could see Leah. "Hey bubba, it's mumma." Leah whispered slightly. "Can you be good for mummy? Take some medicine like mumma's good boy that you are?"
Olivia's heart melted as she watched Louie study the phone, flapping his arms at Leah's voice. "It's mumma Louie, she misses you just as much as you miss her." Olivia tells Louie. "Babe he's so warm."
"It's alright Liv, just do as I told you earlier, get him into something cooler, run some calpol or something around his gums to settle him for the night and ring Alessia, she got called back from international due to an injury." Leah stated.
"I will do. I miss you so much." Olivia said. Heart breaking each word she said.
"Forty eight more hours now darling." Leah smirked. "Remember what I said? Look down at your ring, I'm right there with you."
