Cat Mania

Garrith revisited Cale the next morning.

"Who's that?" Choi Han whispered to Eruhaben.

The human cats were lying on the bed, trying to eavesdrop on their open conversation.

"No idea." Eruhaben replied.

"What is it now?" Cale asked at the door.

Garrith stood in front of him, wearing a sinister grin. "Have you decided to accept my offer yet?" He asked, placing his fingers together to form a triangle. "I prepared a list of candidates." Garrith pulled out a binder out of no where.

"..." Cale stared at the man, judging him up down, left right. "No thank you." He pushed it away.

"Come on, I'm sure you'll find them to your liking. I have selected only the best of the best." Garrith stayed stubborn. "Take a look, then get back to me." He left without another word, leaving the binder with Cale.

Cale for an uncountable numbers of time was left flabbergasted, wondering, 'I hate my life.'

"Mr. Cale!" Jiwoo came jogging over from the other side of the hallway that lead to Cale's room.

The two cats, Kayden and Kartein, walked along.

"Huh?" Jiwoo stopped in front of Cale. "What's that?" He asked, pointing to the binder.

"Got it from the principal." Cale held it in the air, annoyed.

"Don't tell me.." Jiwoo's face grew pale.

Cale sighed. "It's nothing. Don't worry about it..." Cale was definitely worrying about it.

"Tell us." Kartein walked inside the room, crossing his short and skinny cat arms. "What's wrong with it?"

Kayden came inside as well.

"The principal.. well..." Jiwoo didn't know where to begin. "Erm.." He sweated anxiously. "His grandson wants Cale as his awakened animal. It's either that.. or they want Cale's offspring..."

"..."

Everyone within a hearing radius froze, processing the information given.

"We're getting a mom?!" Hong and Ohn jumped up from the bed in joy.

"Human.. he's not saying what I'm thinking about... right..?" Raon's head grew dizzy.

"What's wrong with having a mom, youngest?" Hong asked, confused.

"You don't know how babies are made!" Raon bursted out.

Hong tilted his head sideways, confused. "How are they made?"

"I don't think you wanna know." Eruhaben patted Hong.

"Why are they all men?" Ohn asked, flipping through the pages of the binder. "Choi Han! You're in here as well!"

'Choi Han? Who's that?' Kayden and Kartein thought.

'Wait. Those are the suitors for Cale...' The adults in the room were struck with reality.

"Mr. Kayden and mr. Kartein are also in here." Hong looked along with Ohn.

The two mentioned cats flinched. A smirk appeared on their faces. Forget who Choi Han is, they've got more important matters. They transformed back to their human forms.

"Why don't you choose me as your partner?" Kayden asked, flirting with Cale.

"Or better, me." Kartein pushed Kayden aside.

Cale stared at them, flabbergasted.

"MEOW!" The black cat leaped, jumped across the air like a butterfly, and attacked Kayden.

"What the fuck?!" Kayden threw the cat off himself. "Is this cat crazy?!"

"That's Choi Han." Raon grinned.

"Why is a cat one of Cale's suitors?" Kartein questioned.

"I'm not just a cat, I'm Cale-nim'a cat!" Choi Han reintroduced himself, changing into his original form.

Eruhaben sighed. 'What a troublesome day it's going to be.'

"And why should Cale-nim go with you two? He barely knows you!" Choi Han raised his fists, ready for a brawl. "You don't deserve Cale-nim!"

"You don't either! Who even are you to Cale?!" Kayden spat back.

Cale stepping in between them, pushing them aside, stopping a conflict from arising. "He's my bodyguard. So please stop fighting." He settled the fire.

Kartein crossed his arms, not believing it. "So where has he been all along?" He asked.

Cale sweated, he didn't really have an actual answer. "The academy didn't allow in outsiders. I didn't use my ability to turn him into a cat before, so he had to stay behind."

"And before that?"

"Well.. I was living as a normal cat, so there was no need to assign a bodyguard." Cale averted his eyes.

Kartein sighed. "I guess that's plausible, but you still don't need him even now." He reassured Cale. "You have me."

"And me." Kayden interrupted.

"Me too!" Jiwoo joined in.

'I think you need more protection than me.' Cale thought. "No, it's fine." He rejected their offers.

"Cale. Why don't we produce an offspring together?" Kayden smirked. "We'll make the most beautiful and strongest baby together!"

"No."

BANG!

Choi Han swung his fist into Kayden's head, smashing it into the wall.

"What was that loud noise coming from your room?" Jisuk asked Cale, who was walking into their shared lounge room with Jiwoo.

"Nothing." Cale replied, sitting sown next to Jiwoo.

"Nothing my ass." Jisuk scoffed. "Did you fall on your butt or something? Are you just embarrassed?" He grinned, joking around.

Thud!

Subin kicked Jisuk off the couch, making him land on his own butt. "Even if Cale fell on his tush, he'll look good unlike a certain somebody!" She unnecessarily defended Cale.

"You little fucker!" Jisuk attacked her knees, making her fall down.

"What the fuck?!" Subin wrapped her legs around Jisuk's neck, choking him.

"AARRG! AGH! HELp me! Wooin! Help!" Jisuk's arms and legs flapped around like a baby.

"Get to the point." Sucheon frowned. "You called us all out here for nothing?" He gritted his teeth.

"Oh." Subin stopped, letting go of Jisuk. She got up from the floor. "I got a sparring request!"

"From who? Better not be a loser." Jisuk sat back on the couch. "That'd be so embarrassing." He mocked Subin.

Subin clenched her fists, holding back on that long-awaited anger. She revealed the news without further delay, "Jennifer. You know, the one who picked a fight on me?"

"You got into a fight?" Cale asked, not surprised.

"Yeah!" Subin replied as if it was a flex. "I heard she's pretty high up in the ranks of this school."

"Wasn't the students that came to our academy also in the high ranks?" Jisuk asked. "And you were the only one who lost to them! Pft—"
