A/N:
"This is normal speech."
"This is talking through the mind link."

It was when Harry had finally defeated Voldemort that he took a breath of relief. Seven years of fear of being killed by the madman was now gone.

Harry had immediately searched for his god-brother, Neville Longbottom, and his girlfriend, Luna Lovegood.

When he saw both of them, holding each other and crying in relief that they were both alive, Harry decided to leave them to themselves and went to search for his brothers in all but blood, Fred and George Weasleys.

When he found George on his knees beside Fred, who was on the ground, he lost all the air in his lungs. All negative thoughts ran through his mind. He ran to Fred and put his head on Fred's bloody chest, that was hit with a Sectumsepra, hoping against hope for the sound of a beating heart, after healing him as much as he could.

A low beat was what he heard. "He's alive." Harry whispered and then shook George, shouting at him that Fred was alive and that he needed to get him to the hospital.

George woke from the daze when he heard Harry's words and immediately took Fred to St. Mungos. Harry had come along with him for support after informing Neville and Luna where we would be if they wanted to find him.

Two hours later, a senior healer of the hospital walked to them and said that Fred was out of danger, but he still has to be put under observation as it was touch and go while he and his team healed him.

Harry and George thanked him and walked into the room, which Fred was shifted to after the treatment.

Three hours later, Fred opened his eyes to see both Harry and George sitting by the bed, holding each of his hands and sleeping.

"Water." Fred said in a hoarse voice as his throat was parched.

Harry, who heard Fred, immediately woke up and checked on him. He poured some water into a glass and put a straw in it, and let Fred sip the water slowly.

When Fred nodded, signaling that he had enough, Harry put the glass away. "How are you?" Harry asked.

"Hurts." Fred said.

"Chest?" Harry asked, knowing exactly where he was hurt as he was the one who opened Fred's shirt. George had gone pale and out of the room when he opened only a few buttons of Fred's shirt.

Fred nodded.

George, who seemed to have heard their voices, woke up with a jerk. "When did he wake up?" He asked Harry.

"Just now. I gave him some water as his throat was parched due to all the dust and smoke he had inhaled. It would be better if he doesn't talk for a while. I'll call a healer." Harry replied and walked out to find a healer.

"Can you not do that to me again?" George sked, tears flowing down his cheeks again.

Fred nodded with a sad smile.

"Don't talk. We do have a connection. Whatever you want to tell, just talk through the link." George said, remembering what Harry told him before he left to call for a healer.

"My chest hurts." Fred said.

"I know. You had a dark curse thrown at your chest." George replied.

"Did you know?" Fred asked.

George shook his head. "I didn't. Harry said he knew. When he's back, ask him. When he saw you, he healed the cut and shook me from the trance and got me here with you."

Fred smiled at that. "We could always count on our Harrykins."

"True, that." George also said with a smile.

Harry walked back into the room with the healer who had healed Fred.

"Mr. Potter tells me that your chest hurts, Mr. Weasley. Does your chest sting and hurt, or do you feel something else?" The healer asked.

"Stings and hurt." Fred said.

"He says it stings and hurts." George informed the healer.

"Twin mind link, I presume?" The healer asked George.

George nodded.

"If he feels anything, at any time, please call for me." The healer said after scanning Fred and confirming that his condition was improving. He informed Harry and George the same and left the room.

"Harry, what curse was it?" George asked.

"The Sectumsepra. The one I unknowingly used on Malfoy. Snape healed him. I remember the counter curse and used it until the cut healed enough and felt his heart still beating." Harry replied.

George nodded. "Are you okay?" He asked Harry.

Harry shrugged. "I don't know. I got hit with the AK, and I still don't know how I'm alive." Harry confessed.

"What happened, Harrykins?" George asked, which was Fred's question.

Harry had explained everything from when Ron, Hermione, and him had left for the horcruxes, to his decision to go to Voldemort hoping that the horcrux in him would be destroyed and him fighting the Dark Lord and defeating him after he woke up from the slumber.

"Is it gone, the horcrux?" George asked.

Harry nodded. "It is gone. It got destroyed the moment Tom hit me with the Killing Curse."

"Ron and Hermione didn't even try to stop you?" George asked, fuming at his youngest brother and his girlfriend.

"No." Harry said, looking a little down.

"He knows something. Ask him." Fred observed.

"What is it that you are hiding, Harry?" George asked.

"I have this small doubt. What if they knew from the start that I was a horcrux? It is just a hunch, but those feelings of mine were never wrong." Harry said, not meeting their eyes.

George sighed and put his finger under Harry chin and made Harry look at him. "Nothing wrong in doubting, Harry. You just got killed, at least for a while. It is completely fair to doubt people."

"I know. It is just that they were the ones who compelled me to go to the ministry when no professor listened to me in the fifth year. I didn't actually want to take the chance. What if it was a fake vision? But Ron and Mione told me that it was real and convinced me that it was a true vision.

Sirius died for it. It was a fake, and those two didn't even send a damn letter to me after I was sent back to hell, without even having the time to grieve for the only parental figure I had in my life." Harry said.

"They... they forced you?" George asked.

Harry nodded.

"When Fred heals, we are going to the bank. No matter how much money the goblins ask for, you can pay for them. We are getting you an inheritance test." George said.

Neville and Luna walked in. "What happened?" They asked when they saw the serious expression on the twins' faces.

George explained what had happened.

"Go to the place where Death lingers. You will know what happens. You will know what will happen. Go to the place where Death lingers." Luna said, though she didn't seem to be herself. Her dreamy voice and persona were gone. Her voice held a weird echo to it and felt creepy as well.

"The Goddess of Fate has sent a message. We have to go." Luna said. It was her own voice this time, but she looked serious, which was a very rare occurrence.

Harry nodded. "We shall leave when the healers give us the confirmation that Fred is alright and can move."

George, Neville, and Luna agreed. The message from the goddess could wait. They wanted all of them to go there together.
