Charlie's POV:

"Hey!" I say happily when I open the door for Nick. "Hi!" he answers.

I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him tightly. "You're okay?" I ask because he seems a bit off.

"Yeah. Yeah. I- I wanted to ask uhm..." I furrow my brow. "Do you want to go on a date with me tonight?" he blurts out.

"Uhm yes silly!" I laugh hugging him again. I look up at him and he leans down to kiss me. I completely melt into him. We pull away gazing into eachothers eyes.

"Soo are we going to a restaurant or something?" I ask him smiling at him.

"Oh I thought that we could go to this restaurant here down the street." he says.

"Yes! I love it there." I say cheerfully.
He laughs.
I jump at him wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. Then I burry my face in the crook of his neck.

"I l- like you so much." I say shocked. Was I just about to say that I love him? I go bright red. Luckily he can't see my face. "I like you more." he says kissing my head.

Maybe he didn't notice...

Nick's POV:

"I l- like you so much." Charlie says quietly and my eyes widen slightly.

Was Charlie just about to say that he loves me? I still look a bit shocked. Luckily he can't see my face right now.

"I like you more." I kiss his head burrying my face slightly in his curls.

I try to sound like I didn't notice.

He slides off me and quickly walks towards the kitchen.
"Do you want a cup of tea?" he calls from the kitchen.

"Y-yeah sure!" I call back taking off my shoes.

When I walk into the kitchen I see Charlie standing with his back to me. I walk over to him and slide my arms around his waist.

"Oh hi!" he giggles.
"Have I ever told you how much I love that giggle."
"Nick!" He giggles again.
"Yep excatly that sound." I place a light kiss against his neck.

He leans against my chest.
"What time do we have to be at the restaurant?"
"I have reserved a table for 7:00 p.m.." I say letting go of him so I can take my tea from him.

"So we have about 2 hours. Great! That gives me about one more hour to work." he says as if that is the best part of the day.

"Wait you're actually gonna work now?" I say offendely.
"Yeah I have a big and important project at work at the moment and I need to get it done in two days." he answers walking towards the livingroom where his laptop is.

"Fine! I see how it is." I pout.
He chuckles. "In an hour I'm all yours."

I sit down next to him.
After a few minutes of watching him work I get up again. "I'm gonna get ready. Can I take a shower here? I have my clothes for later in the car."

"Yeah, yeah sure." he mumbles concentrated not even looking at me.

I grab his keys and walk to my car to get my clothes for yesterday.
