"Here is the new chapter! 💕
Jimin's University Campus — Sunshine, Smiles, Trouble
Jimin walked across campus, sleeves rolled up, bouncing a bubble tea in one hand and waving the other wildly as he laughed with a classmate—Minho, tall and flirty with a permanent smirk.
They'd been working on a fashion project together, close for weeks now.
Minho leaned in, brushing hair out of Jimin's face. "You've got cream on your lip."
Jimin laughed, wiping it off. "Oops."
Flash. The camera clicked. Jungkook stood across the street in a black car, windows tinted halfway down, phone clenched in his gloved hand.
Later — Penthouse, Cold War Begins
Jimin stepped inside and immediately felt the temperature drop—figuratively and literally.
Jungkook stood by the window, jacket still on, staring out like he was plotting global domination.
"You came to campus?" Jimin asked, setting his bag down slowly.
"Was in the area," Jungkook said coolly. "Saw your little date."
Jimin blinked. "Minho? He's just a classmate—"
"He touched your face."
"And you stalked me?"
Jungkook turned. "You're my husband. You shouldn't let strangers touch you in public."
"Oh, I'm sorry, did the contract say no skinship with friends unless approved by Ice Prince Jeon Jungkook?"
Jungkook's jaw clenched. "He wants more than friendship."
Jimin stepped closer, eyes flashing. "And what if he does? At least he doesn't treat me like an inconvenience."
Silence. Tension.
"I don't treat you like that," Jungkook said finally, voice lower.
"You act like I'm a problem to manage. Like you're doing me a favor by putting up with me."
Jungkook didn't answer right away. He just stared.
Then, voice barely above a whisper, he said:
"You are a problem. One I think about more than I should."
Jimin's breath caught.
Minutes Later — Emotions Erupt
Jimin turned to walk away, but Jungkook reached out, grabbing his wrist. Not hard. Not rough.
Just enough to make him stop.
"I'm not good at this," Jungkook admitted, the walls finally cracking. "I've never had to care about someone like this. It's... messy."
Jimin blinked. "Is that your version of an apology?"
Jungkook nodded once. "And a warning."
And maybe it was the look in Jungkook's eyes—tired, conflicted, honest—or maybe it was the way his fingers lingered at Jimin's wrist like he didn't want to let go, but Jimin stepped closer.
Close enough to feel the warmth radiating off Jungkook's chest.
Close enough to hear his heartbeat.
"I can handle messy," Jimin whispered. "Can you?"
