"Laswell are you sure this is a good idea?" Price and Laswell were walking down a hallway, they had reached a doorway and Price opened, Laswell walked in before continuing.

"she's the best at what she does,"

Price shook his head "we agreed to keep this under wraps, what if she snitches?"

"She won't, she has a loyalty i have only seen in very few."

Price shut the door behind them. A woman sat at a table, she was in her early thirty's. she had brown messy hair, not a clean cut but it looked ok on her.

She looked up, putting a file down beside her. She had a grin plastered on her face "captain price?" her accent is immediately prominent as she speaks, Australian. She stood up, walking round the table before standing in front of him, her hand out for him.

The woman was in a coat, a name pin on a dark brown coat she wore, the kind in old school detective movies. The name on the badge read 'Professor Jude Heart'

Prices eyes lingered on the name tag before he took her hand and shook it firmly.

"This is Professor Jude Heart; she specializes in temporal anomalies and parapsychology. She's one of the leading experts in unintentional time travel and phenomena that fall outside conventional scientific understanding." there's a break in her speech as she faces price "she has a family member that also works in the field, she chose to teach it as well as take cases in her free time"

She nods, "my brother, he... is what you'd call a... paranormal enthusiast"

"Care to elaborate?" price tilted his head

The girl shook her head and grinned at herself. "Maybe another time, but for now... I'd like to see what you hired me for..." she pauses and her large grin dropping from her face, but her aura still carrying that light heartedness "I'd like to see them in person"

"Indeed," Laswell spoke

-

"Are you sure they are going to take kindly to a random person poking around?" price questioned Laswell, his hands placed in the weel. "They hardly trust us as is-"

"I don't know, probably not, but Jude has her ways"

V sat on the floor, playing with a piece of tech that she had seen on the floor, a beat-up radio or something, and N and Uzi were drawing on a wall with a few crayons they had been thrown by Gaz.

N had drawn a choppy drawing of him surrounded by dogs, the dogs were a whole assortment of colors, orange, green, pink, blue, and other unnatural colors.

"Do you think they have dogs? Do you think they will let us pat them?" he questioned Uzi.

Uzi shrugged, doodling her with her sick as hell railgun and V pouted behind, doodled Uzi, with tiny text saying, 'i want a cool railgun'. She gave a small, evil cackle, before she turned over at N

"Maybe, they might not have a dog though, don't get your hopes up big guy, they don't seem the type to let little robots touch their pets"

N let out a sigh "it would be so cool; did you know that-" N was just about to share one of the dog facts from encyclopedia of them in his head to Uzi when the door creaked open.

V let out a groan as she fiddled with the device and Uzi's head shot up.

It was someone new, a detective... or a teacher... she had an odd coat on, one that reminded her of the one N had on.

The grin on the girls faces widened, she was seeing a marvel to science right in front of her eyes, but Uzi didn't take too kindly to the grin on her face.

"Who are you and why are you grinning like that" Uzi hissed.

"My apologies," she spoke "I'm professor Jude heart, but you guys can call me Jude" she felt that she got that intro spot on, simple, kind, and possibly welcoming? But nope.

Uzi glared at her harder before she went back to drawing.

Jude straightened her posture before clearing her throat, "I'm a teacher, I study temporal anomalies and parapsychology." she grinned, her eyes peering over the drones.

"what's that?" N asked looking up at the woman, this only made her grin wider.

"Well, temporal-" she starts kneeling Infront of N, N followed her gaze as she sat "temporal, it means time, temporal anomalies are things that aren't supposed to happen, time wise, like time travel-"

N gave a small nod, V had since looked up, and started listening

"And from what I have heard, you guys are a victim of this," she continued "you are from the year 3071, yes?" She had a calm look on her face, like she had learnt how to deal with knowledge like this, like it doesn't keep her up at night, like it would for the normal human, or drone.

Uzi shot her a glare "yeah we are, what about it?"

Jude didn't flinch but kept talking "exactly, that's called temporal dislocation, I'm here to figure out how this happened."

V spoke up, her voice edged with distrust "how do we know you are on our side?"

She just smiled "you will never know for sure what others true intentions are, but i know whose side I'm on, and its yours."
