As I opened the door, I was greeted—no, confronted—by a man.
And not just any man.
He was HUGE. Towering. Built like someone who drank protein shakes made from crushed mountains. I almost had a heart attack on the spot.
His eyes lit up when he saw me. A grin spread across his face like he'd just found the last donut in a box.
"Welcome, come in! Not many folks actually show up to learn how things work around here—you're one of the few!" he said, voice booming with enthusiasm.
I took a cautious step forward. "Uh... yeah, my name's Moon. I'm new here and I want to, uh... know everything?" I tried to sound confident, but honestly? I probably looked like a scared puppy.
He bellowed with laughter—loud laughter—and I flinched.
"HAHAHAHA! Only a few more youngins come in saying that! I'm Gruff. I'll be the one teaching you how not to get yourself killed in the first five minutes."
Finally. A helpful NPC.
Mr. Gruff motioned toward a seat, and I sat. He towered above me like a mountain with a lecture plan, and then he dove right into it.

"In this world, strength and proficiency are measured in levels. And right now, the highest level recorded is 2154—held by someone called Anon."
He leaned in like he was sharing a secret. "Most folks don't even break 500."
Then, a glowing interface projected from the floor, listing starting classes. Gruff began to explain each like a proud professor showing off his favorite action figures:
