After ones wedding you would expect a honeymoon. Kai being the King and I the Queen we had very limited options. Our adviser advised to go to Dor or Tando to make our marriage known and show the acceptance of Ordinaries. Kai wouldn't hear any of it.
We decided to go back to the fort, one of the only places that ever felt like home. Before Kai was my safe haven it was Adena, but before her it was Adam Gray.
"You ready to go, Darling?" I hear a honey like voice interrupting my thoughts before they get too sad.
"I think the real question is are you ready, my Cocky Bastard. Multiple nights in the Fort after spending your whole life in a luxury castle with room to spread out and people at your ser-"
"Shhh' I feel his pointer finger pressing to my lips, "I think I can survive in the Fort if I've been putting up with you for this long."
"Shut up Azer"
"Only for you Grayzer"
"Grayzer?"
"Gray plus Azer equals Grayzer"
"Yeah, but it makes me sound like a fucking cow!"
"I mean... That would explain a lot,"
"Malaki If you don't stop talking I doubt I'll give you the full Fort experience."
Kai is now smirking looking devastating as usual only stops to speak words which do just as much to my heart, "What's the full fort experience then?"
"I guess you'll just have to shut up to find out"
