Harmonies of the Heart | ? Jailey ? | The Music Freaks

Hiii to all my lovely fans of Harmonies of the Heart :)

If you are reading this YOU ARE ACTUALLY SEEING ONE OF MY ANNOUNCEMENTS and that makes me so happy because I've not been able to reach so many of you for the last few months 😭 I had a suggestion to make a book chapter if I needed to announce something again because most of you have saved HotH instead of following, so you'll only see updates posted in this book. I'll be taking this part down after the release of the next chapter! All future updates will be posted on my message board, so if you would like to hear those I recommend following me. It's your choice though if you don't and I respect that :)

So, about that next chapter (spoiler alert this A/N is a mess).
Thank you all so much for waiting so patiently for the next part- five months is a long time and I imagine it's beginning to feel like you're waiting for another TMF episode lol 🫠 The chapter is about 65% finished, but it is far from being released. This last month I thought I'd come close, but in actuality there is still a lot of work to do :') I'd love to keep working on it, but unfortunately I'm going through a big period of burnout and mental health struggles which I won't get into bc that's a whole lot of yap.

But never say never; this is a rough patch and I will get to the other side eventually. However I may have to call an unofficial hiatus for Harmonies of the Heart :( because this already isn't like any delay I've had before.

In the meantime, I've got two upcoming projects to release that I can direct my attention to! I don't think I'll be publishing them before I finish releasing Harmonies of the Heart, but while I'm on hiatus from this book I'll officially begin progress on these projects in the background (and release oneshots in the meantime).

🧡 I set up a Ko-Fi where I'll eventually be selling original merch! This includes for Harmonies of the Heart and I've already got my first product in mind :D I will be delaying progress on that too since it'll come after the release of the next chapter, but it's still exciting.
Also on my page, I have two subscription options, including one where you can get access to all of the planning I did for this book (there are eleven pages). I think you'd find it fun to read :) This option will be put into action AFTER the book is complete and fully out, but you can get updates specific to the story RIGHT NOW. Okay, shameless-but-relevant-plug over. Thank you for reading this far, I really appreciate it <3 Here are the project descriptions:

The first project is my Jailey spy au, which is a romantic comedy in script form. It's about Jake and Hailey if they were secret agents!! I've got heaps of ideas for their missions, witty banter, and interactions FULL of tension.

The second is a TMF group chat involving everybody- but it's plot driven and more or less realistic. Already in my Google Docs are 17 pages of their conversations >:)

TLDR; Chapter 7 is on its way but far from being done. Going on hiatus from HOTH until I find the motivation to continue! In the meantime working on one of two projects in the background while releasing oneshots. If you want to get updates I implore that you give me a follow.
