Today was another day where the group of friends had split off into smaller groups.

Pansy was out visiting Luna Lovegood again, and planned to spend the night with her, Onyx and Blaise were on another date, only this time it was him making her dinner at his mothers house, where they'd be staying overnight, and Draco and Lorenzo had gone to see Draco's mother.

They'd asked if Isobel wanted to join, but of course, she said no, and ended up feigning sickness so they'd leave her alone about it.

Though now she was in an awkward situation.

Not fully alone in the manor.

But alone with Lucius.

He was working in his study, she was debating going down to disturb him.

It was only 11am, so she decided to have a nap instead of leaving her room.

While she slept, Lucius stayed in his study. Not working, but thinking.

About Isobel. What they'd been doing. Nothing apart from kissing, and a little touching over clothes had happened. If he called it off now; it would be a lot easier to pretend nothing had happened between them.

But there was a part of him that yearned for more.

However, he was a strong willed man. If he made up his mind, it would be near impossible for him to give into these desires.

Lucius considered all options, and for once, he thought of someone other than himself.

He wondered how Isobel felt about all this. Used? Merlin, he hoped not.

But perhaps her feeling like that for a short while was better than forming a real connection with her - a path that they were already on.

He found himself smiling whilst thinking about her.

And that was when he came to his decision.
